Today I played with Mod Podge and THIS is what happened! First I podge some thick brown paper to itself, then decided to kick up the challenge level a bit and do two other papers as well. Come see how they turned out!

If you want to make this a little easier. Put mod Podge on the mat first. Then lay the paper on top and decoupage again. That will help stop the moving. Try using a soft bristle brush. It should drag less and help stop wrinkles. Finally If you want to spend too much money, try using gel medium. Thanks for this. I needed this idea to make something work.

It's "autonomous sensory meridian response". It's that tingling feeling you get when watching and listening to something relaxing and you just get sucked in. And you wonder how long have I been zoning out on this? Lol

Pockets and envelopes would be a great idea!! Just make sure the paper touching them isn't too delicate. I had one page stick to a napking page I had, but the other one next to copy paper was fine.

I thought it turned out very nice. Though, it ultimately stuck to a page I had with tissue paper. So just be careful about what you have it next to if putting in a book. It was fine for a couple weeks then one day wouldn't separate from its neighbor. But the page I had between 2 copy paper type pages is still just fine.

I used them in junk journals, which worked great as long as they are not placed next to a thin tissue type of paper. With the brown paper torn, I've used it as a book cover for a handmade journal.

@@betssteenkamp1773 the page I had next to napkin paper stuck. Thankfully it looked pretty cool like that. Lol The other pages might stick some but separate very easily. What paper did you have it next to?

Great question! I have a few pieces in a journal. The ones next to normal paper, like copy or cardstock type papers are fine. But I have one next to a page I covered in a napkin, and it stuck to that. So now it's a napkin page with a permanent piece of this homemade vellum on top. The more delicate the page it is next to, the higher chance of sticking. But next to normal paper has not been a problem, in my experience.

I use this paper in junk journals between other pages. If you do that, make sure not to put it next to a delicate page. Copy type paper should be fine. I also have used it as a cover for things and torn pieces off and glued to a picture frame. You could use it like vellum over some invitations or thank you cards.
