DIY Melting Disco Ball & More Pinterest Craft Ideas! (BPC38)

So it's time for another episode of the Blind Pinterest Challenge, and this time I'm attempting a DIY melting disco ball, a puzzle piece bowl, a floral broomstick and a very cute acorn and marble necklace. And this episode of the Blind Pinterest Challenge ended up being rather expensive, however I think the Pinterest crafts I recreated were mostly worthwhile, especially the melting disco ball and the floral broomstick. I think if you wanted to make your own DIY melting disco ball you could possibly make a cheaper version by reducing the size as mine ended up being massive! And also if you wanted to make a cheaper version of the floral broomstick, you could easily shop around a bit for some cheaper artificial flowers. But let me know what your thoughts were on these Pinterest craft ideas, and if you come across any crafts on Pinterest that you want me to try, feel free to leave them in the comments below!

The jigsaw puzzle bowl wasn't to bad 👏🏻👍🏻😃 I used to collect marbles, key rings, badges, erasers and soaps. The acorn marble pendant is cute 👏🏻👍🏻😃 You should chill out or do something for yourself when you're off. The flower broom is beautiful Ant 👏🏻👍🏻😃 I'd hang it on the wall 🤔 The glittery drippy glitter ball is yup alien like but looks good 👏🏻👍🏻😃 Thanks for another great vid as always 🤗🤗🥰🥰

I love the flower broom, it came out absolutely gorgeous! I would have that in my house in a heartbeat! I used to collect marbles as a child and battled my two brothers to have the best large marble in our whole street, we called it a 2'er! Lol. Such innocent, yet combative times lol. I loved the marbles I had because they were such colourful ones, they were all rainbow coloured inside. However, the idea of attaching them to a fake acorn cap never occurred to me 😋😋 But by far my favourite item you made was the glitter ball. It reminded me of an alien spaceship with its shape. It came out fabulously! As for the puzzle bowl, the least said about that the better Lol. God bless you Ant, have a lovely weekend!

You could line the jigsaw puzzle bowl with another layer or two of pieces with the coloured side on the inside, & I think yours would look well better than the original. I love the jigsaw you chose!

As soon as you got that polystyrene ball out I knew you were making something 10x bigger than the Pinterest one, but I've got to say, it looks absolutely worth it! I love it 😍 great selection of crafts too!

I think if you used modge podge on your puzzle bowl and did another layer on the inside it might firm everything up nicely... Then you could keep something very light in it like fake fruit or pinecones or something..... Great job on things though! I was very excited for a new BPC!

I love the blind Pinterest Challenge Videos! You could use the left over puzzle pieces maybe for some clothes Design project in the future. Maybe a hat or a vest or a tie😊

I just discovered your channel, and I'm really enjoying myself! I have to say it though; the disco ball drips look so much like tooth roots to me, lol. It was the first thing I thought, snd then I couldn't unsee it anymore. 😅 Love the broom though! It's giving me wicca vibes.

Oh, but Ant, the puzzle bowl done with hot glue could be the bomb I think. Or, what if you added a clear resin for gloss and structure? For sure needs pieces on the inside color side up as you mentioned….

I LOVE this series! The little broom/besom is used in witchcraft. You did a fab job with yours. I loved everything you made tonight, apart from the jigsaw bowl (obviously). Hard coat Mod Podge may work for that, but i doubt i can be arsed to try 😂

Hi, me again… so the broom… wrap the stem section with wide ribbon or strip of fabric. Stems will be beautifully hidden.

I'm not the only one who instantly saw an udder. Sophie Ellis-Bextor M'udder' on the dance floor playing in the parlour while all the bulls are sipping milk at the bar and all the cows are dancing under the mirror ball.😂. Is your new computer running Windows 11? If so, it might not be your speakers that are crap... What a fun episode! The disco/ufo ball is such an Ant craft! Wonderful in the studio. (also, loved your collections. what about doing those floaty lavalampesque things as a craft? would look cool in the background if you could automate them...)

It is, has nothing to do with that, previous computer was running windows 11, tried all the different settings etc. I think it's because they sound (to me) that they have too much bass which make the sound not crisp enough, bothered the life out of me until I got some speakers lol. Ah and glad you enjoyed it 😊 Oh that could be cool! 😁😁

It's just that I've been battling for a week with my mum's new computer not producing good sound and apparently that's been a known issue with Win11 ever since it launched. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 And of course they've hidden and removed all the relevant settings there used to be in older Wins. Got it to work now, took ages and so much googling and learning new software.

I do but working 40/50+ hours a week plus recording and editing videos, barely have time to get my food shopping in lol

Anthony, wear the boots from your Chocolate Orange video, and the competition on the corner will realise they've no chance. All in all, a great video. I was thinking he's done great this video, but I'd forgotten you still had the drippy ball to do. So, you HAD done great til that point 😂😂 I was going to say the dangly bits looked like stalactites (yes I had to Google the right one), but it's just hit me (insert a slap), they look like roots from a molar tooth. Yes, yes, my brain is odd, and I need to get out more. Se ya next week!! PS Just realised that reads like I didn't like the drippy ball - I did, but it was the only thing I could take the p*ss out of!! lol
