Best way to get a good weld is to dip your tungsten in to the melted metal. make sure you get a good coating so you don't loose the sharp point and then you will lay some dimes.

Remember it always helps if you use your tungsten to stir the the weld. Also don’t put filler in the puddle, melt it onto your tungsten until it drips off into the weld.

Он закалил болт одной частью, что павлеяло на молекулы метала и теперь если приложить не особо большие силы болт расколиться

@@Valkhalla есть, но и ими можно более-менее варить прямыми руками. А этот горе аргонщик вообще не умеет аргоном варить правильно, что уж там про электроды говорить

@@rosenro585 я не профи но варю ручником очень хорошо, даже погаными электродами. Так же и аргоном варю с присадкой, более менее хорошо. В этом деле нужно руки и опыт набивать

Welding is alright I guess but just save yourself the trouble and buy a bearing puller there cheap, easy to use and don't destroy the part 😉

@@user-hi8pz5pr9c если будет проводится правильное цементирования стали (высокое давление и температура), то сталь станет классом выше чем предложенный пластилин 3 (но если у тебя есть возможность цементирования стали, нахуя тебе делать съёмник?!)

Функционал у етого" аппарата " почти никакой жосткасти нету, стянуть новый подшипник с латунного прутка не сложнее чем заменить черенок у лопаты

Чтобы болт закалился он должен быть из высокоуглеродистой стали. Сколько живу - ни разу в продаже таких не видел. Только под заказ у токаря.

Unless that's high carbon steel, it wouldn't harden in the quench. And if it was, it would be so brittle without tempering it'd break immediately. Surprisingly though, this is actually a half-decent 'hack' video.

Get a smaller torch for your TIG with at least a #12 cup. This will drastically improve your tig welding.

I’ve worked with bearings for years and I guarantee you that this tool will fail real fast. Using a press is the most effective way to remove bearings especially when it’s seized up to the shaft.

@@ultramail11 there are many types of stainless steel a that are indeed able to be hardened. That particular alloy in that bolt, probably not. (Edit) and it wouldn't harden in oil. A lot of stainless steels are air hardened

A cold welder isnt real hes using a tig welder and majority of the welds shown are just tac welds they are used mainly for holding things together not proper penitration

I have so many questions. How many times did you sharpen your tungsten? Why sharpening the bolt? Why do you bother using the worst welding technique (cold weld)

Heat Treating that bolt won't work unless it's a hardenable steel

Well, technically speaking, quenching will make even mild steel a little harder. If this has been heated and anealed, even if it's 'non-hardenable', it will still make it softer. (So time on a grinder or the like.) Quenching it would bring it's hardness up a bit, maybe only a few Rockwell at most, still not technically pointless. Worth it though? Ehhh I dont know.

Есть аргонно-дуговая сварка, но нет простейшего съемника? Закалка болта марки сталь пластилин 3 - это на высоте! Полноху..няметр взорвётся к черту!
