Love them both. I just got a 50s dollhouse I am redoing. You could make a rocking chair for kitchen and put 2nd blanket on it.

Wow!!! You are so talented to be able to do this with EMBROIDERY thread (and halved at that)... omigosh! How delicate and gorgeous are these blankets! I absolutely love them. I have a full size crochet blanket very similar to the miniature one you made, if I had the skill I'd try to follow this tutorial. Maybe I'll give it a go even though I know I'll mess it up! 😆

I like both! Great job, thank you. Just a thought, if you think the stitches are too big in the granny square blanket (not to scale), perhaps try with half double crochet instead of the double crochet???

I actually started making the patchwork one on a 1.00 needle as I am doing a 1:18th scale. Thankfully they look to be all pretty square shaped as I wasn't convinced but I followed what you did and its looking fine. Thanks, I hope my project comes out half as cute as yours, I will be happy.
