You are a Master at what you do. I needed to make some spools of thread for one of my projects. I used a hard wood, a mini lathe and did them all in a long row. Next I wound an assortment of bright colored embroidery thread using the lathe on a low setting. I would get one done, dab some glue and start the next one. Its hard to explain the satisfaction of holding such a tiny object, that I made! I still occasionally take a peek at them because they give me joy. It shows that you love what you do. It shows in every project the respect you have for your craft. Thank you for sharing this wonderful talent with all of us.

Ya did it again! I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to make little stands for when I do my plastic egg animal scenes, my first, and seeing how you made those thread spool boxes gave me the idea to see if I can make the shape of the round boxes that my plastic small eggs can fit into to hold them upright. This is why I love watching artists. They solve problems for me with certain things I don’t know how to make by watching. I got lots of cardboard to experiment with to see if I can do it. Thanks again! Your thread spools and buttons are so cute!

@@hitsuji-no-ie I just finished two today and tomorrow I’ll start a third. I go in spurts. Several at a time, to one a month depending on base. My cat food or tuna cans take less time. I did a flat flamingo diorama on a shredded paper stuffed baking soda box using new stickers. It was fun! It was like the box was telling me pick this, pick that, no choose that ribbon not the other and still my big flamingo was the center attraction. And it’s heavy because I used two rocks on the top. I always try to do scenes on the top of my boxes. Got that idea from watching a baking show and they did toppers and I said I can do that too. For a Halloween one I made my first grave out of dried tea and crushed leaves. It was awesome! It was a cup Grim Reaper. The only animal on that was a tiny spider sticker. I always have fun. I just started using krazy glue on my can toppers and bottoms out of cardboard so they stick. So much better than Elmer’s glue. And I taught myself how to marble a couple colors of Acrylics and it looks nice and swirly. Love Acrylics. Enamels and me didn’t get along. 😆
