So I bit the bullet and bought this kit. It's been a nightmare to put together. I can promise you very, very few of the parts snap or slide together as easily as shown in this video. Their version of the process is very deceptive. There is no way I could use my fingernails to push the pieces together. The glass (plastic) pieces were missing. The pieces are so hard to connect they can easily snap without a lot of sanding. The pieces for the bench in the video are completely different from mine. The ones in the video would have been much simpler to construct. Positive point...nice leather. Regret paying so much even though I waited until it went on sale.

Hi! We highly recommend to use sandpaper to file some of the edges so the pieces would slot in easier. We recognized that the precision of our laser-cutting on some of the parts are not as sharp as it should be and we're working on it to resolve this via multiple trial and errors. Please do note that we take your feedback very seriously and our team will definitely improve on it. For the missing pieces, could you please fill up this form and our team will arrange the replacement parts to you - byanavrin.com/pages/replacement-parts. Yes, we're still gathering feedback from our existing customers with regards to how we can improve the overall experience, and the bench is one of the improvements we have made over time. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further feedback for us to improve, we really appreciate it.

Very impressive! What is the name of the mechanism that makes the background move? I want to adapt it for the background of theatre show

I'm putting this kit together right now. I can confirm that there are at least three wood parts missing on the trays. Which is disappointing since the kit is very cool. The three missing parts are all for the two seats. I can improvise using cardboard - or unused sections of the wood parts trays. But it drove me nuts until I did a full inventory of all the trays and discovered that the parts were never etched into the trays. For a kit this expensive - that's pretty shitty.

I also bought additional kits for gifts. One for my sister - and I'm dreading how she will be able to deal with the missing parts.

Should seriously consider bringing price down. I mean this is obviously all done on CNC wood carving machine. Once it's designed, then it's all copies.
