Thank you for spelling out all of the parts and the logic. I have two questions. 1. What bulkheads did you use for the brutes themselves? Any advice specific to that process? 2. For the mixing “arm” that you have going into the salt side, did you glue all of those or keep them loose for removal for cleaning and maintenance of the brutes themselves?

1. I used standard 1" bulkheads, I would recommend drilling the hole slightly higher than I did, because the brute is rounded you'll need to screw down the bulkhead screw tighter so that it does not leak. 2. I glued the bottom pieces but for the top its pressure fitted so I can easily remove it.

Do you keep a heater in your salt tank? Also, do you monitor the salt tank with your apex, and if so what are you monitoring?

I do keep a heater on the saltwater bin side, so that when you do water changes the temp matches that of your tank. Are you talking about the reef tank or the mixing station, I do use Apex for my saltwater tank, I monitor everything from temp, ph, salinity, orp, alk, ca, mg and have a myriad of sensors to keep the tank running while i'm not home.
