Hi Heidi I am thinking about growing a rosemary farm. I am doing my research on the different varieties and the best that will grow in my zone! You have given me a Idea! I will start making essential oils and hydrosol once I learn what I am doing in growing organically!!
@HeidiVillegas

YES!!! This is such a wonderful idea! Rosemary comes in various "chemotypes" depending on the soil, country grown, elevation, precipitation, etc. What a great adventure this would be!

I was really needing this! Thank you. What do you use as a preservative?
@HeidiVillegas

Since I'm using it for myself and it will be gone rather quickly, I'm choosing not to use one. But if so, I'd probably go for optiphen or leucidal.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I'm always interested in all natural products. Is there a substitute for the castille soap, as I've stopped using it due to the fact that my area has very hard water, and the castille soap leaves a nasty film all over everything including my skin. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Heidi. Blessings!
@HeidiVillegas
@HeidiVillegas 5 ай бұрын
Hmmmm....I'm wondering if adding a bit of salt might soften it a bit? That might be worth a try. You may need to add some water if you do this, so plan to use it up within a couple of weeks.

Thank you, Heidi. I was also just wondering if you've ever worked with soap nuts. I haven't tried them myself, but for some reason just thought of them and thought I'd ask, since they're a natural cleaning agent.@@HeidiVillegas
