I think it’s worth saying. This channel has grown like it has because YOU are awesome. I’ve been watching you since somewhere around 500subs. You’ve always stayed positive, always kept out of the channel comments slump. Congrats on the bow, congrats on the channel. Thanks for what you do, and more importantly who you are.

Bravo Sir! I was on the dge of my seat with you throughout this. I have an English war bow and it is an absolute nightmare to string. It took me 9 months to be able to draw it the full 28/30". I quickly realised I couldn't hope to do it with a regular sport draw so I use a sky draw technique. So much easier. Yes it makes the guys down the club laugh at my terrible technique but heck, the guys at the club can't get close to drawing my bow. Anyway thanks for a great video. I always appreciate your content because I can learn so much from it. Thank you so much.

@@ulokelmer409 I’m on all the major bow making forums and help run r/bowyer on reddit. You might’ve seen my bows or videos on facebook too. The quote is from George “Jawge” Tsoukalas, someone who, like Kramer, has taught a heck of a lot of people how to make a bow!

SO glad to see you kept at it! In everything that you've learned as you've gone with this channel, I feel like your videos teach so much more than other similar channels. Not just about bowry, but about the real value of knowledge, craftsmanship, and persistence. I make my 7 year old daughter watch your channel with me because your personality just sets such a good example for someone to grow by.

Advice from an old woodworker, when using a tablesaw never stand behind the piece of wood you’re cutting. As you push it through the blade if the blade grabs it you want it to throw it past you not into you. Take care

@@digitaldogs233I wasn't taught to do it by anyone but I've always done the same thing, like for example when running cut off wheels on the angle grinder, basically if it's spinning fast I stay off the center line😂

Congratulations! Don't trim it down, keep it as is! Its a beautiful bow and you worked hard to build it, its tangible proof of your skill. Or sell it, I'm sure someone would love to have it! I got back into bows after a number of years. I want to regularly shoot a 120lb bow. I started out at 45, and am now consistently shooting a 55lb bow working my way up. I'm hoping to be in the 120lb range by next summer.

There are a few techniques for drawing a heavier bow that help you engage your back muscles more than you normally would. I would recommend looking into videos of traditional archery using heavier war bows.

Everything of this is absolutely amazing. My first thought of how ridiculus it is to make a 100lb bow. The fact that you stay so positive all the way through no matter what went wrong in the process. And to finish it of how perfect the video edit itself it. The story, the emotions. All of it just makes me smile seeing this video or rather all of your videos. Stay positive!

He and Tod did a great episode on Tod's Workshop about drawing and shooting high poundage bows - and the technique is certainly different. From what I saw, it appears you hold the string where your optimal point would be, and push the bow away from you, as opposed to trying to draw the string back to that point.

Now 40years later im getting back into archery and love youre channel, so informative and ive already learned alot just by watching. You do great content, ive got a small video of me practicing with the bow i just got, a 40lb recurve bow, cheap but it does the job, and obviously i will be getting more when im confident enough to 100% know what im doing. But so far im having alot of fun practicing. Its such a fun hobbie. And sport.
