For me, the ideas in kzfaq.infoUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

Wish I would have found this video when I redid all the baseboards in my house - no 90 degree there! But I will try this for the same job in my new place. Thanks a bunch!

I've been installing baseboard, and I had an outside corner that wasn't 90 degrees. I don't have an angle finder so I googled for help, and your video came up. I did what you said, and ite came out perfect! I'm so excited! It was so easy! None of the baseboards I've installed so far look that good. I'm going to do it your way for the rest I have to do. Thank you so much!

- All of your info on 'cutting angles' have been helpful & "RIGHT ON." I've made each of the angles & was surprised how accurate they were. Thanx for sharing. Your accent sounds like my family members in Louisiana.

Keep up with more videos! I came across you when looking for skirting board cutting (UK) baseboard for Americans!. Your vids were very helpful and that southern drawl is easy to listen too.lol. I was doing a hallway and used the 2 thin boards to measure the angle. My digital angle finder was too long to fit the wall. Now I know how to build stairs as well..... hello from northern Ireland.

Once you set the angle on your miter saw(30, 45 etc..) just rotate the other piece of wood instead of changing the angle on the miter saw. Just a suggestion. I like your techniques of finding angles without using an angle finder

Tip: To adjust miter saw just right, use a speed square or similar to drop a pencil line from your drawn line to the bottom edge. Then adjust the saw table until that little line you drew across the edge of your work piece lines up with the saw slot. Works best if you have a zero clearance throat on your saw.

might be a silly question, but if u made one mark on the board and lined up your speed square to it, would that be as accurate as bisecting the two lines?
@lhslguevara5 жыл бұрын
I got very good results using the speed square to measure the angle and dividing by two. Notice in the video he uses square edged boards. I was using beveled edge boards and wasn't getting an accurate reading.

I am doing crown and I am having trouble with a bullnose. There is an odd angle near my fireplace and I just cannot figure this one out. I used my angle finder and know the angle is 120 degrees outside cut. However I cannot seem to figure out the cuts? Can you please help with some advice? Thank you.

Can I do this without a mitre saw? I want to cut two 45 degree angles. I want them to join up perfectly. I have a utility knife to cut through the material. It's not wood it's silicone.
