Nice; simple design yet very elegant in execution. There are a lot of possible variations here too. Dark walnut with brass finials on top would be sweet.

Very nice pen stand..like the choice of wood there...always walnut is a great wood to use..congrats on 2k...

I was planning to make an acrylic stand, but this looks really nice. I may go with wood instead.

+ManCraftingTM Kind of funny you mention that, I was looking at purchasing an acrylic stand, did a search, saw this one in acrylic and thought it would look so much better in wood. Plus, I'm displaying them in an acrylic case so that would have been to much transparent materials. Thanks for watching

Did you not consider turning a dowel on each end of the uprights, it would be a lot stronger than butt glue joint

+peter burley Hey Peter, I did think of that after the fact. Next ones will just have a dowel in each support, I won't turn them as I want these to stay simple and quick to make. Great thought and thanks for suggesting.
