Thanks Bunches! So far I'm pretty happy with the outcome. My overall plan is to do 3 or 4 pieces and spray paint them in 4 different earthy tones.. new pieces for my new paint space. Cindy

Hi Roslyn, me Too! This is totally addictive and considerably less messy... sort Of! I have an empty wall in my soon to be craft room that needed something different. I spent the last 2 weeks drywalling, taping, mudding & repainting everything. Now its time to get back to my life and create fun things. This is completely new for me so it will be learning as I go. I'm super glad to see your still here with me. Thank you bunches & bunches. Cindy

Oops, the last word is living. I hate the suggested words on my phone because I almost hit the wrong word, Liverwurst, instead of living! I just love your videos, so get busy on them, my friend ❣️❤️❤️

It’s nice to see you back in whatever “messy” room you choose to share your talent and your stories in. 🙂 Glad you had some fun “nana” time!

Thanks Barb, Nana time has been busy and tons of fun. I haven't had much me time on my holiday but those days will come. Baby is getting hard to keep up with and several says I tucked in with her for an afternoon snooze! I'm glad to be back in my space and loom forward to more messy fun. Cindy

Great to see you back! About 12 years ago I got back into art watching Carla Vandenburg. She did alot of plaster artwork. Her style might not be yours but some of the techniques she used are really cool. I had so much fun doing this and made alot of fun pieces that are still hanging in my home. Her videos are still on you tube although I haven’t seen her post in years.

Hi, it's nice to be back. Thank you for mentioning Carla. I checked out her KZfaq channel. She has some super interesting additives for texture. I thought the egg shell was super clever and cost Effective! I have some faux moss that I am going to try.. lol. I like watching others create and it always gets my head rolling. Thanks again for sharing with me. Cindy

Hi, Cindy! I am far behind on watching but am trying to catch up. Holy moly….I want to try this! This looks fun! Is the stuff you are using soft enough to add paint or maybe alcohol ink to for color before you put it on the canvas or maybe after the “base” is laid down? I’m a anxious to see what you do when you paint it. Thank you for sharing! ♥️

Hi again..it is definitely soft enough to add colorant. I have tried adding acrylic and it works great but it makes it much more difficult to sand smooth. Dry pigments would be perfect, I have abfew little jars of some warm earthy colors that I may try. At this point I have used both drywall mud and plaster of paris. Drywall mud is quite easy and comes premixed. Plaster is a bit of a challenge at this point as it sets in about 15 minutes so it's a quick paint on . I will get it to where I am happy with a mix of the two. Cindy
