Pro tip, when drilling a decent sized hole that you need to be exact for something like threading. Drill a pilot hole with a smaller bit first! Your hole will not end up oblong like the one in the video.

@@andrewwallace4741 The problem is complacency, once people start doing this they keep doing it. That and anyone who does not know what they are looking at like 95% of the people watching will see that and go oh that's ok! No...a hole that off is never ok.

@@ashtonwhitcomb3217 this isn’t going on a high pressure boiler. Chill. Light furniture welding isn’t going to look like a highly skilled TIG welds, or Submerged arc welds. It’s fine.

Хорошая идея! Совет - если верхнюю часть сделать длиннее и несколько отверстий под разную высоту посуды, то получится универсальная конструкция. А ещё лучше кольцо с крючком и болтом для фиксации на любой высоте.

Заточено под сковороду со строго определенной высотой борта. Плюс, ни для чего, кроме удержания этой сковороды, не годится. В пляжном песке держать не будет. В камни на берегу реки тоже не забьёшь. Я бы полуляхов 120-150 поставил.

There’s several extremely bad practices in this video. Even the very first cut/weld is insanely weak and would probably break under your body weight. Never weld two things together with a half inch gap on either side. Also, flip the piece over and weld the bottom.

There's always a chance any and every weld can fail. But there's several things a welder can do to increase the chance it won't break. There's also things someone can do to INCREASE the chance it could fail and many of those are in this video.
