Yeah I was thinking about ditching the membrane too because the holster material itself can provide that just need vacuum underneath, gotta try these molds. I find them cheap for what they provide, just don't let diy holster know!

i believe this has been around since people began using vaccume cleaners as vaccume formers, alot of waste, but time saver as well

How about a paddle (pancake) style? Can you do that with this former? What kind of mold would be used and how?

What sized tank do you use? I have this vacuum former but I think the pump I bought was too small, the kydex did not form at all. It didn't even move.

Can you use this mold on a wood press ?

Do you think these molds will handle heat better than the HDPE molds?

Hey man great vid I don't have a question about the press but one about a holster is it possible to make a kydex holster for a revolver. I've never seen one but there is always a first time
