Hiiii ❤ thank you for these great tips! How can I find this (or similar) ceramic tiles background?

I think we got them from Amazon but if you check out Hey Paparazzo where we get our stand from they have some that are very similar. There’s an affiliate link in the video description that will give you a discount and they also have a sale on at the moment 😊

Very useful video! Nice to know I have some of these things already. Do you have any tips for photographing metals? I find it difficult to show that they’re gold or silver instead of black. Would the reflection panels help?

I feel you! I don’t have to photograph too many metals but we stock gold and steel charms and they are always tricky! My tips would be, make sure the lighting is good so it highlights the colour, yes use reflectors they will reflect the light onto them, if you can shoot from a slight angle because I find my phone sometimes blocks the light 😊 hope these tips help!

Thank you! My biggest issue is the color not being accurate. I bought a 14 pro max just for the camera to take pics of my polymer clay pieces. But the color is never the same in the photo as the piece is in person.

Yes, it’s sometimes tricky to get the right colours, and even then people’s phones and computers can show different colours 🙈 But I find lighting helps show the true colours. Are you using natural light? Try also editing them a little after so you can get a true representation of the colour (by editing I just mean increasing the brightness and playing with the contrast a little to get it right 😊)

@@myclayco I have been going outside recently. I don’t have any windows that get sunlight. I have tried editing all of those things but I end up just getting frustrated because I have to keep going back and forth. I’m sure once I get good at editing I’ll do better.

Hello🤗 I bake my clay earrings at 250°f for 40 min, they always come out still stiff tho, should I bake them longer? I'm afraid of making them brittle. Thank you!

Hi! What brand of clay are you using? If it’s Sculpey your temp might not be high enough - polymer Clay should be a little flexible once baked 😊 You can’t really overbake polymer clay so long as the temp is right. I’ve forgotten about my pieces for hours in the oven before and they were still perfect 😊

@myclayco thank you so much for getting back! I am using sculpey, I used to set it at 275 like it says on the packaging, but yes they've always been on the brittle side I feel, you think I've not baked them long enough?
