Finalmente, depois de muito suor e sangue (literalmente), concluí o projeto! O pad ficou extremamente lindo e 100% funcional! Espero que gostem, pois futuramente pretendo disponibilizar um guia sobre como fazê-lo.

Finally, after lots of bruises and broken bones (jk), I finished this project! Now the dance pad is extremely beautiful and 100% functional! I hope you like it, because in a near future I'll publish a guide on how to do it!

Bom, ficou muito legal seu projeto. Ainda mais que falou na durabilidade, tenho amigos que já compraram no ml da Dancefit e o sistema de sensor e durabilidade é bem ruim. Estou me programando pra começar a fazer no próximo mês com uma estrutura maior, ver seus vídeos aumentam a hype. Valeu.

Olá, desculpe a demora para responder, só agora fui notificado sobre seu comentário. Obrigado! Não faço para vender, e acredito que não exista nenhum para você comprar com essas mesmas características do meu, principalmente no que diz respeito à durabilidade (ainda jogo nele até hoje). Sempre ouço comentários de clientes que adquiriram um pad pelo Mercado Livre e se decepcionaram, pois o produto não durou nem 1 mês de uso. Infelizmente também não possuo mais nenhum arquivo desse projeto (modelo 3D, lista de materiais, etc), peço desculpas.

Boa noite Rodrigo, Poderia disponibilizar o projeto (medidas, materiais, instruções de corte, montagem etc)? Eu cheguei a fazer uma plataforma no passado mas era 100% madeira e os "botões" ficavam soltos. Vi que você revestiu algumas partes com uma chapa de metal, que material é esse, como você fez para cortar sem fazer rebarbas? mesma coisa com o acrílico. Também queria ver como fez com o desenho dos botões, você mandou imprimir num papel e colou no pad por baixo do acrilico? Se puder ajudar, acho que vou tentar montar um novo. Obrigado!

este proyecto ahora en este año contra el aburrimiento en casa a causa del coronavirus es interesante, me gustaria que publicaras un manual detallado pero patenta tu idea ya que es super original a comparacion de la ciencia usada en los equipos arcades. mi pregunta es, usastes un mando de play station? y en formato ardruino con un rasberry seria posible realizarle ? saludos

new to this, but i assume the FSR is only closest to you because of the style you play? can there be FSR on all for sides or is it best only one? what happens if you press in the middle, does it still register? How does the stomp work, because you'll mostly be standing on it, how do you get it to register properly.

Muito foda! Tem referências de tutorias? Tava querendo montar um, de preferência atraves de um controle de ps2 ou algum controle usb pra simplificar a parte eletrônica, que não entendo muito sobre. Ate tenho um tapete de ps2, mas ele não é muito estavel, fica ruim pra dançar algumas músicas mais rápidas

Então, tutoriais relacionados a esse tipo de coisa são um pouco raros de se achar, e os que encontramos não são sobre projetos robustos e profissionais (geralmente ensinam a fazer um pad que não tem durabilidade nenhuma). Eu, aos poucos, estou tentando ensinar a galera a fazer um também, só que eu tento não dar tudo muito mastigado pra estimular a criatividade do pessoal e eles mesmos bolarem coisas novas e bacanas. And really the borders thickness are 25mm? because that mean what the lower woods are 5mm plus 20mm of the upper woods reach the 25mm of the borders and in the video seems different

+Carlos Zanardi Opa! Obrigado! O amortecimento ficou bem legal sim, pois a parte eletrônica de cada step também é amortecida, então o conjunto todo ficou macio. O custo total desse meu projeto ficou em exatos R$ 395,00. Eu economizei bastante nos acrílicos, pois já tinha alguns em casa (sobras de um projeto passado), e nas peças do revestimento de aço galvanizado. Então esse preço pode variar muito, dependendo do caso!

Hello! I'm sorry, but I don't have them around anymore, I made them by vectorizing the corresponding noteskin (with the sheep from Dignity)! You could try that too, it's not that hard! Good luck!

+Eric Felipe Saco Então, acredito que diminuir ainda mais o custo seja impossível, visto que eu adquiri várias peças no ferro velho (e as trabalhei, poli, etc), e todas as peças de aço galvanizado de todo o revestimento superior do pad foram dadas para mim, sem custo algum, por uma empresa de calhas que sou cliente. Chuto algo por volta de R$450,00~500,00 o preço total desse meu projeto, usando apenas peças novas, não do ferro velho.

Olá deixe-me te perguntar, a arte dos pads vc fez em adesivo ou só imprimiu folhas de papel com as artes? pareciam adesivos que colou por dentro, achei bem bacana pois trabalho com adesivos em impressão digital e seria uma boa ideia xD e...vc vende o produto prontinho?

Olá! Então, não são adesivos, eu apenas imprimi minhas artes (vetorizações das setas de uma determinada noteskin da PIU) em papel couché especial, ficaram bem bonitas! Quanto a venda do produto, no momento estou estudando essa possibilidade e projetando um sistema bacana aqui que fique de fácil manutenção para um cliente leigo em eletrônica/solda, é provável que em breve eu comece a fazer para vender, mas apenas por encomenda, já que é um baita trabalho artesanal e único!

What is the size of the whole pad and each individual arrow pad?

Hello, there you go: Base: 87,20cm x 87,20cm Borders: 2,50cm (thickness) Corner arrows: 33,10cm x 27,40cm Center arrow: 27,40cm x 27,40cm If you want the measures to be in millimeters just multiply the values by 10. Or, If you want them in inches, divide them by 2,54.

Usei apenas uma peça de acrílico, para uma seta, todas as outras eu fiz com peças de poliestireno cristal (transparente), são exatamente iguais ao acrílico! Quanto a arte, no momento os arquivos de imagem não estão disponíveis para download, desculpe.

Olá! No momento não estou mais com essas minhas artes, troquei de S.O. e enviei todos os meus backups para a nuvem. Mas não é difícil fazer, basta você pegar a imagem da noteskin original da PIU (caso queira fazer essa mesma que eu fiz) e vetoriza-la. No começo irá dar um pouqinho de trabalho devido a resolução da imagem ser baixa, mas conforme você for trabalhando nela fica bem fácil. Daí é só configurar as dimensões da arte para as dimensões oficiais das setas (diagonais - 33,10cm X 27,40cm, central - 27,40cm X 27,40cm.) e, consequentemente, caberem numa folha de papel tamanho A3, prontas para a impressão.

Zak S Hello! Actually the only "tutorial" I watched was from RipTide's DDR pad, just search for it here on KZfaq. I had to conceptualize everything from scratch (measures, materials, etc).

Obrigado! No momento não, talvez algum dia desses eu comece a aceitar encomendas, mas por enquanto ainda não. Um pad dessa qualidade e robustez (nunca deu problema até hoje e é bem pesado e autêntico quanto ao feeling de se jogar numa máquina de PIU oficial) demora bastante para ser feito, especialmente no meu caso, que trabalho sozinho. Mas obrigado pelo interesse nesse meu projeto!

I've made it without the bar for two reasons, I'm used to play without it (following the "old school" WPF official rules) and because wood and metal don't go well together, the wood would deform very quick under the pressure caused by playing with the bar attached to it. I have plans on building another one, but I'll be going "full metal" this time.

The corner braces! They keep the arrows (plastic and wood) in place.

Glitched Being Which mechanism is it that youre now using? I was aware of RipTides method, but I heard that many people had issues with the nails being pressed down into the wood, causing sensor malfunctioning.

I'm using a custom version of RipTide's mechanism (the one from the video I gave you the link), it's working flawlessly! The screws being pressed down into the wood can be avoided by using thicker and higher density woods.
