In this video, I build a DIY router table for my trim routers. Well, 2 router tables...one without a stand to be used with my VACPad system and the other portable router table has an easily broken down stand that features toolless assembly. Why did I make two different versions of this router table?? Ah man! this would be perfect. I have a small shop, and don't even have a vise to mount my trim router. I usually just (strategically/puckeringly) clamp it to end of my outfeed table. Very well thought out and designed Mr. Morsels! and, as always, a great video to go along with it.

Get a large wooden hand screw clamp and tighten that to your router then take two regular clamps and tighten the hand screw clamp down to a table

I’m just starting out in woodworking, and have a very small shop. This seems like it would be a great solution for all those times I wish I had a router table. I think you’ve hit the sweet spot in this design. There’s a lot of videos with very complicated designs and a lot that are basically a board with a hole clamped to a bench. This one checks all the boxes.

I love the fact that you used the valchromat. You've inspired me to bling out all my jigs going forward with off-cuts and scraps...I'm also jealous of all your sleds with walnut or sapele fences....I've been using plywood like a sucker...

This would be a great addition to my portable tool setups that stay on my truck. As a trim carpenter I is essential that all of my tools are easily portable and this little table would fit the bill perfectly for that.

Keith, I really like the design of the table. Making it tool free is definitely worth the extra hardware. I am always impressed that Jerry and Lola stay nearby you with all the the noises from the tools. Our cats want nothing to do with the shop once they realize I am going to be working. Thanks so much, Nick! And it's totally crazy those cats don't mind all the noise. They pretty much grew up out there since 6 months old, so I guess they are used to it. I still have kick them out when things start to get a little too much for them to handle. 😹

Great idea for a small router table. I've looked at plans for other benchtop tables, but you still have to store them somewhere. Being able to break it down in pieces is an awesome innovation!

Love the small size and convenience of breaking it down to store. Great for any small shop. I have always been a little intimidated with routers and love using them on tables where you can have more control of the piece. Looks great and love the adjustable fence.

I really like how it's really easy to breakdown and take with you on job sites or even a small garage shop like mine. Wouldn't take up that much space at all! Perfect for both scenarios
