Found all your leaks and made clean spots all over the old camper, that's definitely going in my bag of tricks! I've seen HVAC guys do this to my house, then walk around inside with a smoking wand thingy, running it near all the usual suspect draft areas until they see the smoke fly out through a crack. Then they just sprayed expanding foam in the draft spots, course they weren't worried about water, just air. I never though about doing it to a camper/RV, this is perfect for doing once a season during the usual check-up clean-up tune-up.

I save random crap, like the refrigerator fan from our last fridge and blower motor of our old A/C system. You just never know when you're going to need them. Thanks for the video.

We always roll on a couple of coats of snow seal on the roof of any rv we have ever owned. It eliminates the need to check for leaks, as it creates a rubberized coating that seals everything it touches. And yes, it comes in white.

I use garden sprayer with soapy water. Store brand dish washing soap is good and it works for tire mounting too. Grain bins and all manner of containers can be checked with a squirrel cage fan for leakage. I use my riding mower pulled up against the fan with park brake set to hold it.

Positive pressure displacement. LOVE IT! Those portable air conditioners do the complete OPPOSITE of your blower, they will actually SUCK hot air IN through those leaks!

Energy Audit tester install a front door blocking/sealing canvas door with a large fan in it. He then looked for air leaks in the house. He found a chimney clean out door, several windows, and a basement floor seam allowing a draft into the house. So a fan method is used by those in the profession of locating leaks. As a trucker, I would use a SMOKE BOMB into a van/refeer trailer to check for leaks, like door seals.

Get a soap cannon that you can use with a pressure washer and you can cover a large area with a dense foam and clean the unit at the same time.

Great idea! Peace of mind along with a cleaning. My camper is very similar well made unit. My problems were ruptured water heater ( mig welder ) ruptured pipe behind tub. Then minimal from twice plastic roof vent covers breaking in storms. Shore those up with plywood & sealer. I need to make some good aluminum or galvanized ones. Still deciding on keeping it?

How does the airflow pass thru the storage bin and get into the camper?

I would think there is a pressure the fan should push and it will certainly fail at. You where pushing air that is for a large home into a very small space. I wouldnt worry about those leaks. You would cause more problems trying to seal them then its worth.

I have a smoke machine and it will send out Indian Smoke Signals when there is a Leak.....

At minimum, you got to wash the roof.!

Why use water ? Why didn't you just use the blower with a colored smoke perpellent. Much faster and easier to get leaks.
