Thanks for validating the choice some are making to live statonary in their RV. For some seniors, it's not always about money, sometimes it's about living simply and leaving a smaller footprint and easy estate for their kids to settle.

That's a great point. Living simply runs counter to the predominant culture in this part of the world. But it sure makes life a lot less stressful and easier to manage. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the subject here!

I've been living full time in my 5th wheel, for over 8 years and love where i'm at and the park I'm in. My RV is fully skirted with 1 inch rigid foam insulation, and I made a storage garage under the front where the hitch is. Then, I painted all the insulation with regular outdoor house paint to match the trailer. Helps keep unit warm in the winter from the cold north and west winds and the snow that we get in the winter. Doing skirting correct really helps. I watched a KZfaq video on how to do it. I personally do not recommend that silver bubble wrap stuff for cold areas.

LOL ... yes, that's a never ending battle with the elements. That's why I love my pole system that lets me wash and wax my RV in about an hour. You can watch a video I made about it here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y6d_n9Gh1KyqXZs.html

Do RV negotiators exist? I had one for my car and i saved 18k on that car.

Have you done a video on the Starlink? What are your thoughts on it?

So far I haven't done a video on just Starlink. But from what I know about it seems to work very well for those in the western part of the country where access to the sky tends to be more open. Some on the the eastern side say that it doesn't work as well for them there. But when it works, it works extremely well.
