Good job! Great video! I may have missed it, but how wide is your shelter build? How much wider span can you go from an existing roofline like this? I am thinking about this for my new RV. I would really like it to be 20 ft. wide. The only problem is that the RV is longer than the depth of my building! Not sure how to handle that issue?

I think I went 16ft out front the wall. As for how far you can go out, it depends on the foundation, joist strength etc. may want to check with a local builder.

Great video! For a concrete slab, would you have to breaj ground for posts? Not seeing how i could use mounting plates

You would have to drill holes and then epoxy the plates in.

How did you seal the joint of the new roof from the old roof won’t water run right underneath the new roof edge?

We installed the shingles under the ones on the existing roof, so that it is like it was shingled all at once.
