So, the weirdest thing happened today... Now, I discovered Simon´s Cat right in the beginning and followed on my previous YT. Then life happened and I have watched now and then. Recently I have been feeling really bad, life is crappy and I "want" it over, basically (depression, not ME wanting this. I´m stronger than depression though!). So, today I took a short walk and saw a car with the cat, pointing at the empty bowl, located on the lid of the gas tank. Took a picture and smiled. A short while later I´m browsing around Instagram and what pops up if not Simon´s Cat? So now I´ve spent a good amount of an hour watching new episodes, LONG (yay!) episodes, re-watched "oldie goldies" and have giggled and I feel better. So, whatever Cat-God that knew I needed this - thanx!

Simon's Cat is so much like my cat, Jericho! She loves being right in the middle of everything that I'm doing. Of course, in the case of my cat, it's not in an effort to be annoying or to be fed, it's because she loves spending time with me. I love spending time with her too, so I don't usually try to shoo her away. But it can be challenging sometimes when I'm working on projects having her right there "helping" me. I could so identify with the cat jumping up on the shelf when Simon was trying to fasten it.

I had a great dane once and the Marmaduke guy was spot on with what it was like living with one of those gentle loving giants. Every episode of Simon's Cats gives me that same "yup, he's got a couple" feeling. Bravo! Love the videos.

On another note: I remember my roommate's old grey cat from long ago. When I was in the bathroom, brushing my teeth, he would saunter in; jump on the toilet; from there, jump onto the sink; and then, after carefully judging his trajectory, he would jump up onto my shoulders and parade around, shoving his tail in my face...

I helped my friend with her Scottish fold for almost a month now. It was all fun and games, until she decided to follow me around everywhere, trying to nib my pen while I tried to work, jumping onto my shoulder, and etc. But to see how they carry themselves with such dynamic personalities is really a great pleasure.

I'd say the fictional version of Simon is definitely a first-time pet owner, I think most cat owners could have seen that coming :) I personally just put up a Shelf with a bunch of knick knacks and trinkets...... All hot glued to the Shelf.

My cat sees me ironing, he lays on the cloths. I tried framing some art for the bedroom, he laid on the frame. I tried setting up a fish tank, he climbed into the tank then laid down. My cat is the epitome of a "center of attention" cat

My cats knocked my pen jar over so many times that I finally got this stuff called Quake Hold, which is putty that museums use to keep priceless vases and other works of arts from falling over in case of an earthquake. My cats never knock things over when I putty them to the table or a shelf and they are all big, strong cats.
