A. Simon's Cat is made using Adobe Flash / TV Paint / CelAction animation software.
Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon's Cat film?
A. Even though the films are made on computer software, they are still hand-animated in a traditional manner, frame to frame. It usually takes between 12 and 25 drawings to create 1 second of a Simon's Cat film.

Itsy-bitsy spider came down its little thread And while he was distracted it climbed up on Simon's head The cat did notice and pointed to where it lay That's when itsy-bitsy spider scared poor Simon away.

I'm glad my cat loves to 'play' with everything bigger than mayflies. Because she is a lovely, clean lady, she eats her victims to cover her tracks. And she wants to be praised for her catch of course! This is going on for years, nowadays I just give her a vocal sign and point the spider or fly out and she's on it. My brave little huntress.

Heh. I can't laugh too hard at the one with him reading a book. The same thing happened to me once ... and I reacted almost the same way. I literally screamed and threw the book across the room in a fit of panic. XD The Couch. Yeah, I learned longer ago, you can't have cats and nice furniture at the same time. LOL!

Simon- Turns on light in attic* Cat- New place to explore! Yay! *Cat refuses to leave attic Simon- eventually 'lets' the cat continue to explore. Cat- proceeds to get into some kind of heart stopping mischief* Yep. Pretty much our cats if we forget to close the door to our garage.

Be careful with recliner chairs/couches and cats. I know someone who cat was killed be one of those, the bars broke it's neck when the owner closed the legs. Always look before shutting those, if you have a cat.

I'm arachnophobic so NO WAAAAY am I ever going into an attic or anywhere else that might have them. However, this was hilarious for Simon's predicament when the cat turned out the light !!
