I'm in the process of building a version of this, but with an aluminium hard case, using a backpack vacuum as the harness/straps, a 12v scooter battery, and 6.5in speakers. Nice to know other people have had a go at this before though.

This is literally that one Mr Bean episode when he can't afford a smartphone and builds a backpack with the same features instead.

Just something you can do, but if you want to make your cable look nice and make it more durable, use paracord, removing the inner strands. Then thread your wires through it. I did this when I was making thicker cables for a pair of headphones a few years back.

Hmmm.... Am quite a novice when it comes to electronics, but I would like to ask a question... Am trying to power up my 30 watt studio speakers for if possible 24 hours, And I don't know what battery to use neither do I know how to connect the battery to my speaker (they are a set of 30 watt Krk speakers with in built amplifiers).... Any suggestions on what I could do to make this happen? (I wish to power each speaker individually with their own rechargeable batteries)

Impractical. Big speaker kinda bulky. I don't think the sound is going to the outside? Ruins the speaker kinda doesn't it? Could just get a small one attach it to the side or whatever and have it way sleeker

So how much did you spend on this? I mean it's not bad but for $60 you can buy a jbl charge 2+ and it sounds awesome, battery is awesome, its strong. You can charge your phone, and it's smaller than this, and waterproof.
