Hey Jake, I don't know if you care for this anymore, but one of the reasons you had speed wobbles may have been because of the tightness (or lack of) of the kingpin on your trucks, which is the bolt that holds your trucks to the board itself. I had this problem initially when I first started to skate. The tightness of the kingpin determines how sharp you turn, the looser the kingpin the sharper you turn, and the tighter your kingpin is the wider you turn. Since you are going at high speeds on your jet powered Boosted board, you should be sure to tighten it (if you can). Feel free to use this as future reference for projects like this one in the future. ~Jakob [Jake]

I have some ideas. First boring wireless controller. Reverse thrust to slow down. Torque vectoring, when you turn sharp the other motor goes nuts and the inner one does the same backwards so it helps you turn.

awesome project! i was thinking for the remote, maybe take plastic gear that is a little bigger than the remote dial, cut the center of the gear just big enough to fit on the dial and attach with glue or hot glue. i think this would give your thumb more grip and better control. also maybe one day you can do a jet bike. keep up the awesome engineering.

To stop the wobble at speed you need to tighten the bolt on the trucks. If that doesn't work, try moving the heavy parts down low. This will lower the center of gravity make it more stable. Let me know if you test this and how it goes.

Great idea 👍 I wonder if they could be fitted to a battery belt and used with a hang glider.. I'm thinking they could be used for vertical takeoff and landing, put your feet up to go forward. Added feature would be, once soaring high you could switch off and have them generate power, recharging the batteries and potentially allowing you to fly without the need to return to earth after 40 minutes of flight 🤔

How to fix board shaking: Find the kingpin nut on the bottom side of the board, grab a small wrench or a socket wrench and tighten the nut an insane amount. This puts pressure on the bushings, stabilizing the board but also limiting your ability to turn. Hope this helps

Use the ice solution from the web shooters v3 so you can leave a trail of ice behind you, and tightening the trucks and mounting the engine tighter should help with the wobbles

Would Loosening the tension bolt on the trucks will reduce speed wobbles providing you with More handling?

So, I've gotta ask, that speed wobble? What if, Ik it's a long board. But what if you swapped the longboard for say... a bike. A bike you can balance easier, more control, easier braking, less damage should you crash, easier access to a kill switch (if you put it in the handle) to me, making a bike like that would be a really neat thing to do. And rather than that big box on the back, you could put it under the seat or rear tire, or even on the handlebars if you really wanted. Sorry, just got hooked onto that idea and jotted it down. But yeah. Rocket bike.

Tighten your trucks to avoid speed wobbles, you can kick off to beat acceleration issues I think boosted boards need a kick too, and do some research into car break pads. max out the friction between wheel and breaks

Need wider trucks, bigger wheels like 97mm or 107mm from ABEC11, throw some SHIVER abec 9 bearings on there because they're slick as butter and all that together should eliminate speed wobbles..really just need a proper deck setup to hold that speed..and what about using a reverse feature on the jets to slow you down. Either that or a proper brake system. Just thoughts coming from an evolve carbon gt daily rider..be safe mane! And great job!

One thing that will reduce the board wobbling at high speeds is if you tighten the "trucks" on your skateboard :D
