DIY Snow Pusher For Compact Tractor I Plowing with the Kubota BX 2380 once again

Жыл бұрынThis time I decided to take off the Edge Tamers and see how Version 2.0 of my homemade snowpusher handles the snow without the Edge tamers on. I think it does a pretty good job.
The tractor is a BX 2380, R14 tires, and the standard bucket with R2 Edge Tamers added. I am also running with chains on in this video.

Chains on the front would help with steering.

They sure would. I have heard a lot that they aren’t good to put on the BX though

Not only no but Hell no. I could easily weld up a quick attach bracket for either a V blade or an angle blade that you could either set the angle manually or hydraulically. I plow with a 1950 John Deere MC with 4 way manual blade on front so I have hydraulic up and down and manual angle and my home made backhoe on the rear.

Definitely way better than a bucket. I have an actual snow pusher coming instead. Then I have the rear blade for straight stretches. I just like trying things out.

@@BigGuyLittleTractor I plowed using the FEL bucket on my 1946 Gibson one time. I ran it into the shop and made a straight blade plow to fit in place of the bucket the next day.

Filled tired and the back blade. Nothing else really. More would certainly help.
