Lots of people don't like seeing paid promotions on their creators videos and I totally understand why. What I would like you to understand though, is that if it wasn't for paid promotions like this, these videos wouldn't be possible at all. I literally live on the road traveling and making these videos for you all. The cost that goes into making videos like this is enormous and adsense or youtube red revenue alone wouldn't allow for this show to be made. If you don't like seeing sponsored content but appreciate the show, I would ask you to consider supporting us on Patreon instead. If enough of my viewers supported me there, these promotions wouldn't be needed. www.patreon.com/livingbig - If you don't want to support me on Patreon then all I ask is that you view these promotions as companies who support my efforts on the road and make this whole show possible. They are only on a handful of videos after all.

#KZfaqrsGottaEat 😁 You already know where I stand on this issue Bryce! If I had dispensable income, I would certainly be helping more than I already do! 👍 I appreciate your taking time to address this, because not everyone knows just how much money you've been spending on your time here while in North America, and the logistics behind all of this... 🤔

I hate how angry people get over sponsorship. And yet movies and TV are filled with paid placements that they don't even notice and don't have to be mentioned. Congratulations on getting a sponsor because of your great content. Keep it up, keep living the life you love and realize that there are a lot more of us out there that get it and are silent, than there are loud complainers. You bring us very well produced videos for free every week filled with amazing content. Keep it up Bryce!

I love how the host is super complimentary on everything. He is so good at finding the special things people add to their homes and acknowledging them. This house was really fun; more than the hammock, I was really impressed with the wood design in the bathroom. And in the comments, I think people could show some tolerance for the fact that these videos and travel costs need to be paid to keep this channel alive. You aren’t being forced to buy anything, so just stop listening to the ad for half a minute and enjoy the show. Thanks Bryce! Another great episode.

These guys are the only ones who have ever (so far...working from the oldest videos) acknowledged Rasa's existence, its about time too...there would be no show without her talent too - you are a team, and a damned good one at that thanks Bryce & Rasa cheers from Western Australia.

@carlyletom301

Whit Scott It's a beautiful floor. The choice of stain and cubic shape gives it a brick look. I never thought about finishing a floor using cut ends. I am guessing that they're at least a 1/2" in thickness. And that the individual tiles were probably secured with with brad nails? However, I was thinking that you didn't have to necessarily sand each individual piece, but instead, use the large buffing/sanding machine to even out the rough spots before sealing it.
@ultimatewhit
@ultimatewhit 6 жыл бұрын
Carlyle Tom, thanks for your note, I appreciate the compliment. The cuts are 1/2 inch. I hand sanded because I wanted the tiles to have a rounded edge, similar to terra-cotta, or old brick. The stain actually came out a little oranger than we were intending, but we are happy with the result.
@carlyletom301
@carlyletom301 6 жыл бұрын
Right, I did notice that the edges were broken. I'm guessing that the end cuts would have a greater propensity for cupping (especially if only finish coating the top surface).

I agree. That whole corner seems awkward. Could see a lot more cushioning and the table seems redundant. Make the other table a fold out for more temporary surface space or designer another for that corner. That tether on the end of the table is awkward and don't like the hinge in the middle. But the net is a total win! Not only does it give more sleeping/lounging space, but also makes the loft area a lot safer and comforting than other lofts. Very cool

The innovations people come up with to solve their problems is the coolest part. I find that a lot of ideas are taken from boats or RV spaces. For me I think all the creative wood working is what makes this space so special. The mountain mural in the bathroom but also the incredible work they did on the flooring. The pattern and color actually makes it look like an old brick floor - just gorgeous.

"Tramping" for New Zealanders is what you call "hiking" in the USA. That is, when you go for long walks backpacking into the "bush" (kiwi for what you would call backcountry) Nothing to do with behaving like sluts!

Great job Whit and Cody! You're awesome! 😳 Thank you Bryce and Rasa for sharing such an amazing tiny house! 🖤🦇

I absolutely loved this video. Everything was perfect and those two guys' friendship is goals. It was so adorable to watch them creating a project for themselves and actually going through with it working together and complementing eachother. I've only recently gotten into tiny house living but I must say I dont think I can turn back now. Not only the movement in itself but also the people behind it all seem so interesting with so many life stories to share. I am moving out soon into a tiny apartment for the first time and I think it will be good training for geting used to living in a tiny space. Really looking forward to it :)

I am mostly super girly (a male friend once mentioned that a man could get his period walking into my home), but even I can appreciate the coolness factor of this place. THAT BATHROOM = SWOONY! And a hammock totally puts me in camping mode. I concur with the others who appreciate the hell outta that kitchen floor. Reminds me of the labor that went into exposing the brick in my 1886 terrace bungalow. The guy told me if he had it to do again, he would not have exposed the brick.

I have seen many videos of mini houses and every time I see them I am amazed at how much creativity there is. We always put our personal touch in each place but creating something that is designed to live is incredible. This house is what made me say "WOW", a net on the cealing? I would never think of that. You will never go to bed without knowing something new. I cannot wait to see your next videos!! Greetings from the Basque Country

Omg the mountain scenery in the bathroom!!!!! I need this in my future home, had never heard of this type of woodwork. And the floor is to die for. The net = HEAVEN! Amazing amazing features. It may be small but I love that to turn the table into a four seater they used a rope and hook instead of a leg. Table legs get in the way. Just so cool!

I’ve seen so so so many tiny homes. Omg so so many. But this seems to be one of my favorites as it’s a tiny bit so open and I love the simplicity of this tiny. I also love how you two best friends sound like a married couple. Lmao. I know you both must be very proud. It’s no tree house but it’s definitely something you know you can do now when you get money for property. I’d love to see it if you ever do get to build you a tree HOUSE
