Fire bellied toads are very social animals. I highly recommend you not keep him alone. The more toads the better.

Honestly it's kinda funny that you uploaded this video when I'm super seriously considering some firebelly toads. I already have my tank, I would just need an under gravel filter.

Kaylee Todd honestly such fun pets to own! Would highly recommend them! Their easy to care for and I love watching them swim around and catch crickets! :)

They get protective sooo maybe during mating season where they are more hormonally active and they might kill the other toad

@@jimmynaso6529 i have 2 fire belly toads that i paired in a 20 gallon tank, they get a little bit feisty and sometimes whenever i tong feed them but otherwise they do just fine

Great video , thanks for sharing , I've used silicone to repair a crack in a tank once , I found that using a pair of disposable gloves saves you getting the stuff on your skin , I learnt the hard way haha

I want to bring the frog on my patio inside. I believe he’s a yellow belly tree frog. Is that a good idea. He’s wild? Some how he has made a home in one of my pot plate on my 2nd floor apartments patio.

I really want to do this style of cage. I have a big water dish for mine which I don’t like because it doesn’t provide enough water for them. What sort of substrate are you using to?

Not that I know of but as long as you keep the dirt moist they really don't track much in there. At least I haven't had a problem with that with mine!

Do you need uvb for these or can you just put calcium on the live food?

You can put UVB on them it definitely doesn't hurt! I just use calcium on their crickets and they are right in front of my giant window that's always open so they get natural UVB light.

no eco earth is healthier and more sufficient for humidity than moss

Yes you can, You can have a layer of Spaghnum moss on top of you eco earth.

They have mated before and then I was stuck with 25 tadpoles! (You can see them in my animal tour video). Sage gets extremely stressed out when she is around Buddha though so I don't know if I will breed them but I might when I have more space!:)

those plants like cost a fortune in my opinion. $3 per plant is too much for those tiny plants. I also bought 2 of them thinking they'd be larger.
