Have to be careful not to lean to one side while wiping for you might be "wiping" yourself off from the floor.😊

Oh...and I made one of these to sell a "dry" (no built in head) overhead style truck camper...it was a favored selling point. I made alot more money...seriously...and pick your bucket before your pick your recycleable liner bags...try to fit to the grocery plastic bag size

Thanks very much for sharing...much appreciated...very easy and effective build. One possible addition: Add some Home Depot waste paint hardener crystals to the human waste after use to firm it up before disposal. Cheers!

Good job. That would be all most would need for emergencies.

Things went wrong at home for us 😂 (main drain clogged by infiltrated tree root, repair scheduled for next week 😖). We added kitty litter to help with oder so we don't have to dump after each... Use, lol. Also having the issue of the pool noodle not staying put between uses, but it's a minor inconvenience in comparison to the current situation. 🥴

Nice touch adding the kitty litter. Yeah, that pesky pool noodle has been a topic of discussion here and there. Hope things get back to normal for you soon!

This was a excellent DYI! I'm going to make one of these for sure. Might I suggest using a "Bowl Fresh Toilet Deodorizer" or two hung over the rim before putting the pool noodle on. It would really help keep down odor.

I'm thinking of making an outdoor backyard port-A-POT/OutHouse made out of all cardboard (Except the toilet part) for a BBQ I'm having in the backyard. Reason is, I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment building, and I don't want people (including myself) to be running up and down the stairs the whole time to use the washroom. I figure if I get 2 0r 3 huge boxes from Kinkos I could put it together. What ya think?

You should only use compostable bags.I can buy them in my local supermarket. Most KZfaqrs describe something more elaborate, to separate urine from faeces. You don't need to empty the bag very frequently at all, and you can usually dispose of the pee anyplace you can wee.

We made the bucket as prescribed. The noodle keeps on coming off. Obviously when not in use. Anybody have the same problem? And any suggested solutions?

Interesting! I don't have a solution, but I would be interested to hear what others may suggest to fix that as well. Hmm...
