Hi, tbh, I don't! In theory stretch stitches should be used. I can recommend using a 3-step straight stitch or even a narrow zig-zag stitch has more stretch than the straight stitch. In my personal experience I have only had issues with the sleeve hems if the sleeve is too narrow. Straight stitch actually has a tiny bit of stretch (shorter stitch length = more stretch). For this bodysuit the straight stitch amount of stretch is enough for the stitches not to pop. This might sound crazy. I can imagine trying this on a sample and then stretch this sample with your hands and the stitches will be popping. In reality you probably will not put that much pressure on your garment and the stitch will last very well. However, I wouldn't recommend using straight stitch for hemming leggings. In that case the hem has to be very stretchy for the feet and ankle to get through and straight stitch will pop right away.
