Thanks guys! I am learning so much about washing cars - and I had no idea all that is involved. I am looking forward to getting started on restoring my "new" 2016 car I bought that needs some TLC. And by the way, I just traded in my 2013 Subaru white 3.6R Outback like the car you're working on for my first Beemer.

Great tips on the iron remover as most of the cars I see are hammered and covered in iron particles. I love the way DIY designed the products to work and patience is rewarded. The iron remover cleans incredibly well but it is not going to eat a four course meal within fifteen seconds. The Subaru looks amazing and now she is protected. Thank you for the video and I hope your shop is coming along as planned.

So I just got done coating our 2023 Wagoneer carbide edition with the 8 Year and for anyone who says they can’t coat there vehicle with one bottle… definitely installer issue. I barely used half the bottle and did all the windows and painted surfaces and still have half the bottle left. You can probably get away with coating 2 full sized vehicles with 1 30ml bottle using the foam applicator. The foam applicator is key definitely. Prime the pad and after that 3-4 drops per panel and your good 👍 Yvan/Nick great product very happy with the installation and results. I’m very happy to be installing your products for my clients 🙏

Great demo as always, guys! Quick question: when it gets warmer, I'm planning to apply "the stack" to my wife's 2024 Mazda CX-5. The paint is thin. I mean *THIN*. All I plan to do is use the red jeweling pad and the GS polish. However, I don't have a rotary. I plan to use it on my Adams Polishes 9mm short throw DA. Would this still work, and what speed should I set it on? Thanks!

For any car colour if the ceramic coating sweats it makes it waaay easier to know when you are ready to level in my opinion so that would be a tip for a slight change to the coating if you do a revision I would suggest 😊
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 6 ай бұрын
Our chemistry is not compatible with the carrier solvents that cause sweating. Also coatings that sweat require more coating to be applied to the surface.
@JayTownsend1
@JayTownsend1 6 ай бұрын
@@diydetailofficialwhy would they require more to be applied? Never heard anyone mention that before, so genuinely curious to the reasoning.
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 6 ай бұрын
Many sweating coating installers swear by the mantra, put it on wet, and let it sweat. In order for the solvent carrier to bead, there needs to be a sufficient amount of it on the surface.
