This is the best episode because you can clearly see and feel Mitch knows his history and was really there seeing everything. As a grime fan from then too it was a great time for uk music and mad to think artists struggled to break America then & the ones that did were seen as sellouts changing the music. Really it was the smart thing to do but we were all hooked on grime in the uk

My respect levels for Dizzee just sky rocketed for mentioning Gambia in the Benachin(What Gambians and Senegalese call Jollof) talks. It originated in Senegal though, Jollof was made by the Wolof people it's literally in the name. Ghanaians and Nigerians try do the colonizer ting and act like they're the end all and be all smfh. + Gambia just won the last worldwide competition Shoutout Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cameroon as well
