Sometimes I think it’s too much of an ask to expect vulnerable people to be around the lifestyle they’ve fought so hard to get away from. People need to protect themselves first. It sounds like going toward this dangerous lifestyle was triggering and a struggle for him. Despite the best of intentions, you’re no good to anyone else dead

As a recovering addict you are encouraged to help suffering addicts get sober, but I think this is just a minor way of distracting you from your addiction temporarily - instead of focusing on healing and reframing your internal drives and triggers, which has permanent effects. This show or the plane crash may have been the trigger that led to his death, but the reason he still had impulses to abuse drugs is because he had inadequately treated trauma from his past. Just read his bio on Wiki. His upbringing was heartbreaking 💔 RIP. Adam 💫

You're exactly right... As a struggling alcoholic, I know that the addiction is a symptom, not a cause. You can't expect to feel instantly good after you quit. You have to fight the internal negative mentality that made you addicted in the first place and do it in a way that works for you. I know that sounds odd and everyone's different, this is just my experience. Anyone reading this and struggling though, stay strong.

@@jenniferpasciuta5988No, it may have accelerated things but the plane crash he survived caused him to be prescribed heavy medication. You can say that was the catalyst…

It was a noble thing to do, but it was unfortunately not a good idea for him to be put back into the element if it indeed caused the relapse that led to his demise.
