Danny is right and wrong. He is right that DJ is too wrapped up in her relationship with steve that she completly neglected her responsibilities. But he is wrong about her not really being in love because she is a teen. Teenagers can fall in love too. But Dj should have prioritized her relationship with Steve and her responsibilities better

Even though Danny is the father, he would've got in trouble with his mom if she appeared in this episode.

I don't blame Danny for going off on DJ and banning her from seeing Steve. She was spending too much with him which caused her to neglect her schoolwork and responsibilities. Something bad could've happened to Michelle and it would've been all DJ's fault.

I hate Danny in this episode because he thinks he wants what's best for Donna Jo, but the opposite happens. As for DJ, I hate her for being a doormat like she was a selfish, spoiled brat. Not to mention that I couldn't stand Steve for not getting away with winning against Danny. I side with neither of these characters.

To be honest, i think danny has a point in this scene where dj is too wrapper up with Steve in the way, i think she had that coming for always spending time with him instead of being responsible. But I think he's wrong since some teenagers can be in love even if it's complicated, relationships can be hard. Danny might be going a bit too far of not wanting dj and Steve see each other anymore.
