I used to bump this song in early 90’s in my 1985 Chevy S-10. With a 18” Orion sub in a solid speaker box behind the single cab bench seat. Had the seat all the way forward pressed almost against the wheel. But didn’t care, it was all about the tunes! 🔊

CLASSIC!!! I don't even remember when I first heard this cut? I didn't embrace "gangsta' rap". I'm born and raised on the East Coast. This was actually the very first cut I bought of that genre. I got it on cassette single when I was home on leave from "Operation Desert Storm". Somehow I was really feelin' it? The beat and Quik's flow was just tight! Little did I know I would end up transplanted in Cali? I got mad love and respect for Quik. I hope to meet him one day. Stranger things have happened in my life... lol PEEESE!
