The 59th in my Retro Goa Explorations series of videos in which I present some of my favourite 'Goa Trance' tracks from the '90s.
In this series, I go back to my first experiences in the Goa Trance electronic dance music movement starting in late 1994, drawing upon my recollections of hearing specific music at certain events and using my classical music background explore the elements that I believe make these tracks so great.
The series is currently focused on music I first encountered in the '96-97 season, starting in September 1996, and this track comes from what I am sure is the first compilation CD I bought after moving to London in September 1996 (Order Odonata Vol.3), a collaborative production between two major projects who only produced a few tracks together: Phreaky (aka Cydonia & Indoor): Over The Moon. After I share some background, I present my observations about the music while playing the track; I then give a few closing comments before presenting the track on its own without any commentary.
