Hey Joe... can I have some help? I'm doing follow spot for my school production of Billy Elliot and I would like to know if you have any tips.

MCGaming6 If you are able to, have plenty of practising manoeuvring the follow spot in advance. This will enable you to become familiar with how to effectively handle the follow spot and become acquainted to any particular quirks which may be present. Aim for smooth and consistent panning and tilting. Make use of its iris to find your beam's position on stage when relocating before expanding the beam to a size where it is obvious. If you're lucky, the follow spot may have an integrated sight for aiming in blackouts.

Aaron Martin what it is, is that I'll only have 4 hours with it on the first day with it as the shows start the next day....
