In some way it's sad that music industry hasn't found Dan. On the other hand, if YT and other developments hadn't been, there wouldn't have been the slightest chance that someone can make it from their own home studio down in Brazil to impress millions of people all around the world.

Dan said in a video where he replies to questions that the harmonies in “Africa” were probably the most challenging but also the most rewarding for him personally.

Oh this man can sing! This was incredible huh. And it was 5 years ago. I am convinced he is on a slow but escalating elevator and we are going to keep hearing from him.

It was this G.O.A.T. that gave the singer Steve Perry the nickname “The Voice “ way back in the 80’s. And he Dan has covered Journey flawlessly. He is definitely a phenomenon!

Whenever I hear this song I think of that young man singing it on X Factor America and it really makes me laugh and then to hear Dan singing it, there is no comparison, needless to say the poor young man on X Factor couldn’t sing, in fact in the end Simon Cowell told him he didn’t want to hear anymore because he was walking about whispering, I don’t think he knew the words, totally unprepared. I’d love to know what Simon Cowell thinks of Dan, not much I would say because he didn’t discover him, jealousy that’s what it is.

Hepours his whole heart and soul into his singing. His facial expressions and body language, the look in his eyes, the flexing muscles and even the hair tosses , play their own part in the singing. This Epic Dude approaches all his covers with due respect and greatlove. He also does all t he backing voices, a Herculean feat. Also check out his cover of Dio's Holy Diver.

Dan Vasc makes any song that's already good even better with ease. And he covered that song five years ago. Every song he covers is never a copy..... Unique❤️. I so hope he hits "1 million" subscribers today in 2023 and then hits the next million. I like your reactions to Dan Vasc, keep it up, I'll be back 🤟👌👍. I totally agree with you there! I was born in 1980 and I have listened to ALOT of bon jovi growing up as well because my dad was big into classic old school rock and Dan here just blew it right out of the water! I am not in the least bit disappointed in it and this is the first time I have heard this cover! Also I do and I don't agree with you on what you said about the music business not being the same in that Dan if he'd been born earlier might be the front man of a band - I can agree in part. The music industry has definitely changed over the years - but also I think nowadays an artist has more...ability to take control of the creative process and Dan may just like doing things his own way - I could definitely see an alternative or hard rock band loving to have Dan...I listen to a lot of Bad Omens, Invictus and Beartooth and I can so easily picture Dan in one of those bands and rocking it and it would blow my mind that not a single person hasn't see Dan and perhaps tried to sign him...like, that would be totally unimaginable so I can only infer that they have and Dan just for whatever reason wants to be autonomous maybe?

This cover was awesome. I'm also a Bon Jovi fan. Dan's first effort wasn't as good but his voice was still very young with not as much power. You could see he definitely had potential and by this version he's grown so much and nailed it. Fast forward to Amazing Grace and his voice and power has grown even more. Just stunning. Also love Dan's Bon Jovi cover of "Always" and "It's My Life".

Many hard-core fans of various different bands or singers have said in comments that I’ve read how they are usually of the opinion that other singers shouldn’t touch that song but when they give Dan’s cover a chance and listen to it they absolutely love it! Your Mama raised you right. Lol. My 1st rock concert actually was Bon Jovi / Cinderella "Slippery When Wet" tour and I still love JBJ. Just for the record, most of us would have run off and married JBJ...but we'd have had to fight Dorothea who had either brown or black belt in karate. I was new to Dan's epicness a few months back & wouldn't entertain even the slightest possibility that he could do Bon Jovi justice (or Steve Perry for that matter). I only a few wks ago decided to, after hearing Dan's other stuff, give his BON Jovi covers the benefit of the doubt. I skipped this song in favor of "Always", though. Absolutely unbelievable how spot-on Dan is with even little JBJ details & inflections. I just had to hear the other songs after that. I recently played Dan's cover of "Always" for 2 of my friends who also love Bon Jovi & had them close their eyes while listening. It stunned them as well. If you haven't heard that one, it's also worth a listen.

And yes, Dan is usually an adorable little labrador of happiness in his talking parts at the end of his videos. Your mom must be the same age as me because I grew up, listening to Bon Jovi as well, and all the hairbands love them all. You should listen to him singing always from Bon Jovi. It’s amazing he sounds just like Bon Jovi actually if you close your eyes you hear Bon Jovi.

RIP to the Dream Weaver, Gary Wright. Not sure I have heard of Bon Jovi being referred to as the G.O.A.T. before, but there is certainly an argument for it. I would place about a dozen a little higher, but then, it boils down to personal taste. I might even include Dan in that group.
