I've seen somewhere on on of their videos' comments that Geoff looks like a Disney Prince but sounds like a Disney Villain. And it's absolutely true

Kathy and Geoff started singing together as carol singers in their early days, and then in Disney shows and parks. Alas, Kathy later suffered from hearing loss (Geoff has a beautiful video about it on his channel). So she can't sing anymore, but she is now the production manager for both Geoff and Voiceplay... Congrats from we VoicePlay and Home Free fans. The sign above the Door says VoicePlay Toy Shop in German. The lovely toymaker is Kathy Castellucci ( Geoffs' wife ) building the Perfect Man. Kathy is a tiny little thing only 4’ 10 and 3/4” tall to Geoffs' 5'11". Tony Wakim is a former member of Voiceplay but now partners with Layne in Patty Cake Productions. Kills me the way Geoff looks a Kathy with those bedroom eyes. Just makes you melt.

Geoff uses Kathy, stationed just off camera, whenever he needs to get "that look." When you see his hair blowing in an invisible breeze, Kathy is on the fan. Apparently helps him maintain mood/focus.

All of Geoff's and VoicewPlay's fans love Kathy for the work she does as project manager. But she's also just charming as hell. As others have said, she appears in Monster Mash, as well.

VP has the uncanny ability to find the best guest stars. It's like they were original members all along. The complexity of all their songs just blows my mind and it really shows off the background vocals when you listen to the karaoke tracks. I love Kathy getting screen time. As their producer I can't even imagine what she goes through keeping all those guys in line, especially after watching their BTS videos. She and Geoff are so sweet together. She's had cameos in Boy Bands in 5 Minutes with VP and in Monster Mash from Geoff's solo channel. Their storytelling through video is amazing as well. Tony is Tony Wakim, former member of VP and co-owner of Pattycake Productions with Layne. If you wanna see what the group was like with him, watch "Phantom of the Opera." It's from several years ago and was one of their first more theatrical productions. It features Rachael Potter and it's really good. As for this song, well it was amazing, for sure. The story telling was so good in this video! And the vocals were out of this world! P.S. I'll also agree with the comment about watching "I Can't Make You Love Me."

What a great reaction! Your enthusiasm is contagious and I was already crazy about them.😊 Do you want to have your mind blown? Anthony’s all of 17 years old! When they did Just Sing at the very beginning of Covid, early 2020, they already wanted him as a collaborator. He would’ve been about 15 at the time which is about the same age as Adriana Arellano was when she sang with them for the first time. Lately it seems that they’ve been trying to catch their collaborators for two pieces plus some minis so I’m hoping we’re going to get to see another one with Anthony as well as the minis that he’s done. He does have his own channel on Spotify by the way and he is a very gifted although not a lot of songs yet. If you want to see them again, just their heads, check out Grim Grinning Ghosts around Halloween. They are portraying the busts that are in the beginning of Disney’s haunted mansion ride. Tony is with them at the time and he has a fantastic voice. When Tony was with them, they did do a fairly short piece from Beauty and the Beast: Be our Guest. But one of my favorites with Tony is Road Trip from when they were on the sing off. One more factoid- it’s funny that Kathy created her perfect man. For over ten years, Geoff and Kathy were working at Universal Studios in the Beetlejuice Rock’n’ Roll Graveyard Revue and Geoff was someone else’s “perfect man”. He played Frankenstein 🧟‍♂️- and Kathy was his wife.

Anthony was originally supposed to have the part Eli ended up singing in Hoist the Colours. But then Covid had a resurgence and Anthony couldn’t fly in. So Jose stepped in and learned the part Eli had originally and Eli learned and recorded the high tenor part. (That’s why Jose doesn’t seem to be as ‘featured’ as most artists are that sing with VoicePlay. While Kathy was filming her parts, Geoff opened a feed for patrons and talked to us. He let us watch Tony and Layne, but not Kathy so we would still be surprised when the video came out on a Patreon. (But we all guessed it was her!). Anthony is big on TikTok I believe (not 100% sure, I'm too old for that app!😅) and the only song he has performed with Voiceplay is their Just Sing from 2020. I love the video for this. It's such a sweet and imaginative storyline and Geoff and Kathy are such a cute couple - she's a lucky lady! I'd never heard the song until the VoicePlay notification for it came up. I went and had a look at the original while waiting for it - it's a very pretty song but I think Geoff's additions have given it something extra. Well done on the number of subs in such a short time - I only subbed yesterday (I think) and your totals have risen quite a bit since then! I'm really looking forward to seeing more reactions to, in particular, VP, Geoff and Home Free from you. You seem to have a soft spot for bass voices, as I do. If you also have very wide musical tastes, then might I suggest you have a look at the Bass Gang? They are four primarily bass singers, with some of them having a very wide vocal range, that have been and continue to work independently on KZfaq but decided to work together as well about a year ago, I think.. They've not even met in person as they are so widely spread out - 2 in different states of America, 1 in Eastern Europe and 1 in Egypt - so as you can imagine getting videos put together is a lengthy process for them, hence not a huge number to watch but all, to my mind, great. A-cappella but a very different style to VP and HF (although they have done a song with Tim Foust of HF.)

I chalk the huge subscriber growth up to two things. First is what I like to call the acapella effect. Reactors that do almost any combination of Pentatonix, Voiceplay, Home Free, Voctave, and The Bass Gang seem to see their videos get a lot of watches. The second factor is entirely you. You're a joy to watch and listen to while you're reacting and I think I can safely say that most of us came here for them but subbed and stayed for YOU. Congrats on the 1K! If you haven't checked their content out yet, both Voctave and The Bass Gang will blow your mind too. Voctave's larger than the rest but their arrangements are just about any choral or acapella kid's dream to be able to sing. But after watching Nothing Else Matters I dedicated it to my Hubby as I found the emotion and devotion so perfect. I love Voiceplay to pieces, but if you want a group that takes the place of the whole orchestra, I've gotta suggest Voctave. They're a slightly larger group with incredibly simple videos, but their vocals and arrangments are wonderful. They do quite a bit of Disney covers and medlies, but they do other stuff too.
