I love your flying style! quick rolls and smooth loops and split S's . I'm wondering if you have had it automatically switch you from M mode to N mode from it detecting wind? I have run into this twice now when flying in manual mode and it didn't seem very windy...
@NJ-Tech2 ай бұрын
Thank you bro! So that is a new one to me, i have definitely had it happen when hitting altitude limit but never due to wind! Although this quad is too light to enjoy flying when its windy so i tend to avoid those days. Have you read of anyone else having this problem before on the Avata 2?

Amazing flying session man, with some really cool tricks! The Avata 2 is pretty capable after all! Just got mine two days ago and I was wondering which are your rates in this specific flight... Do you use the stock rates or did you modify them? P.S. Would be cool if you could post more videos like this, showing the capabilities of the drone as well as sharing some tips! Thanx in advance! ...greetings from Greece!

@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Just the built in rock steady! Rates a a little higher. I might do a video going through all that. It can def very tuned to feel good for this kind of flying.
@mcmediaandfilm3 ай бұрын
@NJ-Tech that rock steady did a very good job no warping like gyro flow can do I was descending with mine from tree canopies and in gyroflow can see prop wash but I noticed on your power loop descent nothing , the video on the rates would be cool , as alot mention the slight wobble through the goggles even in windless conditions
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
@mcmediaandfilm I did a video (one before this) on how to fly avoiding propwash. It's important in this quad to avoid it, and gives stabilisation much better footage to work with 🙂

@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
You need do dish the turn just slightly to not upset the Quad really, or split S. As I talked about in my last video, if you fall directly in to your own propwash hard, it might cause it to drop an arm. Be smooth on the throttle and its really well behaved. 😊
@JamesBreitenstein3 ай бұрын
Still has the yaw washout death tumble prop wash, how bad is it?
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
I talked about avoiding that in my last video, have a watch if you're interested in the flight behaviour of this quad. As long as you keep it in clean air and don't propwash it too hard, you won't have the problem at all. But it's not going to behave like a full on freestyle quad, it is a consumer drone after all.
@JamesBreitenstein3 ай бұрын
@@NJ-Tech Did you fly the avata 1? it was unflyable to me, is this much better? I could not fly hard turns with the avata 1. I had several crashes because of death tumble that could have hurt people. I sold it because of that.
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
@JamesBreitenstein never flew the 1. Knew from just the design that would fly like a pig for freestyle. Any quad with gairds or ducts can misbehave because of the extra drag, but I'm impressed with this one so far. You can still drop an arm in a hard yaw manoeuvre but stick to a custom build if you really want to throw it around. But for split S, rolls, loops, you can see it does all that nicely.

Just did a first fly with mine today ( no fancy stuff, im a begginer ) but i noticed the trust power was very low in my oppinion (more than 60 % of stick up to make it wlowly fly 1-2 mt above ground...) ....i have to change some rate ( begginer mode and M limitation already off ) ...CE as well .. Maybe some rates are wrong ?
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
You need to adjust the vertical speed limits in sport mode. You need to assign manual mode to the custom switch or you won't be in manual mode and have full power. But if you're a beginner I would not fly in manual mode until you have tried it in the sim first!
@DS-Log3 ай бұрын
@@NJ-Tech no , i already did all this and already on manual :) ( i spent last month everyday with Uncrashed and TRYfpv ^^) I set manual, i deactivate the limitations as well BUT..i still feel like it lack on boost power. ..i have to put my stick above the center a lot..like.60% full UP, and doing small slow half diving still i feel like ive to push to the stick all up to make it recovery...or half to even fly slow and gentle above 1 mt of ground...while on the sim : 10-20% power =small /medium hoovering/gentle flight 30-40% to recover frome dives 50% and above already fast flights (and i used cinewhoops in the sim, not speaking about acro or racing drones) .
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
@DS-Log it's only 4S, and never going to feel like the sim which often seems like way more power than real life. I've reviewd and flown over 100 drones, and this one has plenty of power for its size. If you want more power you need to build a custom 6S drone.
@DS-Log3 ай бұрын
@@NJ-Tech Ok got it..make sense....i was just wandering if it was maybe be to have to change some additional beside the above one ( Y P R already set on my preferences) .... so if its normal that relaxed slow flight. require at least 50% of stick push (center) at least i know ive to just get used and there is no kind of problem ( yeah..beaide the CE castrations... f*** EU standars for that -.- )

I have the avata 2 but can’t seem to do flips. I put it in manual mode and it just flys sideways (I’m new to fpv) is there a thing in settings in need to turn on to be able to do flips?
@NJ-Tech3 ай бұрын
In the goggles settings you have to assign manual mode to a custom switch otherwise you will only have sport and normal mode available. You also have to go into the controller settings and turn off angle limit for manual mode.
