@@NJ-Tech Yep understood. I know it does not have crazy freestyle bottom end pull out of a dive power... I could see you keeping it soft and running the limits on this drone compared to your madd skillz unlimited flying on a custom build. Video was smooth and video looked like a great in goggles experience. Good fun. PS - one question... during your inverted spin did the video black out for you or was it just an edit?

Yeah you're exactly right, the AV2 has to cater for both ends of the spectrum so we can expect it to handle like an open prop flcustom build. But, all that said, once you learn it's weaker areas you just adjust to it, then its surprising what it can achieve. The power to weight is actually good, you just can't dump the throttle totally or you stall the props. But that's true of most ducted quads. The spin invert was just an edit, I'll do some more next video 😊

No that was intentional. However, hard yaw manoeuvres are not really somewhere this quad shines! It's inherent to ducts and guards. That kind of thing is best left to open prop designs.

Hey thanks for the comment. So I will do a video on this all shortly but the main thing to know is that a duct (really more of a prop guard here) doesn't help with when the Quad very rapidly changes direction, or any situation where you can easily stall the prop. It's a topic I'll cover in more detail but compared to the sim, try not to fall into your own turbulent air and when doing loops do not totally dump the power in the dive. A steep decent followed but jamming on the power will get you in trouble. Keep it moving and be smooth with your inputs.

nope! Next video i will do a few more inverted yaw spins and show the recovery. It handled them just fine, but you have to know how to work with this type of quad for freestyle. Its not like an open bladed FPV quad, it requires a different approach.

@did3d523 I don't see how they can limit your speed in manual mode? The only way would be reducing available thrust. Is there a proven solid answer to this somewhere?
