I smiled when I saw the video title. Two mavic mini videos in one week! I have the original mini so I am always happy to see videos on it. Not many you tubers bother showing content from the original mini now that the mini 2 is out. The wind warnings can pop up a fair bit but I took mine out earlier this week on s fairly windy day , it only registered two warnings. It handled the wind really well such a fun drone to fly.

Impressive performance. With the wind and against the wind powerful motors, really handled well. Great camera image quality. The refurbished price of $300 ish is great for the Mavic mini performance. Thanks.

Yes, DJI updated the little Mini to the point that it handles wind quite well.

Another excellent video by Marcus. Love your content, always get excited when i see a new video up, especially the Mini drones by DJI. Scouting is also a great way to use drones. Not just filming cinematic content all the time.

As soon as you take off, the wind picked up. lol. Noticed the ripples on the surface of the river. Glad you still use the Mini 1. The forgotten DJI drone. Anyway, very nice video and outstanding view.

Another great video on the Mini!!!! I really enjoy your videos but I have a suggestion specially when your flying those substandard drones that move a lot while hovering. You have a beautiful new Tahoe and I could just see one of those drones drifting by themselves and smacking your new truck!!!! I would put more distance between the Tahoe and those unstable drones!!!!!

Another big plus with the original Mavic Mini is the very compact Combo bag which fits neatly into my motorcycle tank bag. Taking my motorcycle and Mini from my home in England 🏴 to Wales 🏴 next week and plan to fly it over a lake or two. My two favourite hobbies on one trip.

Good to see you flying the Mini 1 again. Saw your mini video the other day by the Boise river and mentioned we’d not seen the old one for a while. Twice in a week now. Miss the fella so might skip the Mini 2 this weekend and retro it back to the original. Lovely location as usual Marcus.

Haven't flown my Mini much since getting the MA2 but a couple weeks ago took it down to Mexico and it did just fine. Besides if nothing else it's good to cycle the batteries every few months and I still do like the old RC because like you mentioned it's not only light but folds up really compact too.

Another benefit I’ve come to discover is if you’re flying in hot weather the Mini and it’s Lion battery can take a beating much better than the Air 2 👍

I’m on my 3rd DJI drone now as I’ve caught the drone bug, but I still fly my original Mavic Mini occasionally and I’m always impressed with what it can do considering how tiny it is. I just keep it in the glovebox of my car. The batteries don’t drain automatically which is handy.

I really enjoy your videos. Thank you. Just an FYI, during your last video I lost sound in my left earphone. At first I thought it was my headsets, but I checked a different video and my sound was good. Also, when ads come on yours, the sound on the ad is good. This video is missing left side sound as well. Thanks again.

I agree Marcus. For the money, the Mavic Mini is a good little bird! It'll be interesting to see if DJI actually introduces the rumored, "Mini SE". If they do, folks will have a good option for getting into the hobby.

Audio on both channels on your intro but audio out on the one side of your audio on your presentation. Check it out!

Yes, the mic was set to stereo, so only recorded the right channel. 👍
