Neutral density (ND) filters can help with overexposure and with the new manual video settings on the DJI Mavic Mini the Cinematic Look can be achieved with the help of ND filters, New Fly App update and Mavic Mini Firmware update.

Cool 👍 Sunnylife just seemed like the best for the price to me. FreeWell has a bigger set but cost $100.

I have these ND filters and they are GREAT! They won't give a color cast nor vignette. So glad I got them. Great video!

Nice. You're missing 100 grams Dave.. 249 not 149.. Not sure what the bug was.. had me going there for a minute. These mini's are probably the best performance value today (avoiding FAA regs under 250) -

Oh my. I must be getting oldtimers disease and forgot to put the battery in when the weight was measured. A battery weighs 99 grams. Lets just leave it that way and see who notices it. But thanks for watching long enough to catch that. You laugh with me on that one.

finally a test done on sunnylife ND filters been waiting for that ,i recently bought the 6 pack one, has all the same filters as you but has added CPL and MCUV ,i paid 30 bucks Canadian from alliexpress , ill be using them soon, im curious what ND filter were you using in this video

ND32, the darkest one in the 4-pack. It was very sunny. Seemed to work super good.

Its so long and I can't remember the brand but I have the very light version on my mavic Pro. I bought the kit but I think I only fly with the 16. I've never had any problems with it annoying the gimbal like some of the other brands. Ha! Crows! I've never changed my ISO or played with any of the settings other than video at 1080p at 30 frames per second. Amazing bit of kit!

The ones I have for my Mavic Pro are PSY Tech and the ND8 is what I use on it most of the time but I think the Mini responds better to the ND32 in the sun for some reason.

Maybe I should have got these instead of the Freewell filters.... I've noticed fit of some of mine vary. Some are looser than others and need a bit of tweaking to sit well. The loose ones have the curious effect of causing the gimbal to emit an abnormal high pitched sound that is not present without a filter, or even a different one attached. The freewell filters have metal clips though and it is possible to nudge a bend into them just a touch to get them to sit better. Granted, I understand this drone wasn't necessarily designed with filters in mind so I'm not really going to complain.

Yes, absolutely. They are great for the money! You can probably get them even cheaper if you shop around.

If you go to photo mode they produce vignettes in the corners, their ok for video as image is cropped

Ive not had the vignette effect, a slight smudfe to the side when filter wasnt seated correctly. Have some shots that seem to have a slight blur or artifact similar to 1s seen in mobile phone panoramic shots with high exposure at 1 end!

I picked up the six filter set from Amazon. My gram scale weighs them at .08 grams.

You measured it without the battery... that's why it's missing roughly 100g. The weight limit is 250g. Good video otherwise.
