Oh , thanks for sharing such problem. I was interested how mini 2 is doing. Perhaps, upgrading to Mavic air 2 will be better decision. Cheers

Exact same issue here. Received as a gift on Saturday, two successful flights on Sunday, won't calibrate today (Monday). Contacted DJI support, after some discussion they said to return for exchange.

You should try to calibrate it in outdoors, and free of interferences (wifi, signal tower, etc). It's written on almost all dji drone manuals. If it still has the same error, u should return it or contact dji.

Try to reset the AC and RC then IMUI calibration it if helps. Then try to reinstall the firmware of the AC. Or your close to metal object and magnetic than causes that problem on the sensor. Did the drone crash thats why its asking for Imui calibration.

DJI is very worried about Race drones and is forgetting about the customers that give them a lot to gain, try to put the firmware that comes from the factory and try again, I hope that it will solve this problem and return to its wonderful flights👍🙏🤗🤗🤗

@@uksewingmachineservice7030 And try to have the battery of the remote at full load and the batteries of the drone, this is constant already in my Mavic 2 Pro I have had several bugs signal loss etc.📶👍

Bummer Don! That happened to me with my Mavic 2 but only after I crashed it into a tree. Had the insurance plan from DJI and sent it to them. Told me that the drone gyro was most likely damaged from the crash. Perhaps yours got damaged during shipment? We all know they are sensitive instruments and don't think it is a design flaw.

Like 38 don yeah ive seen a lot off people are having this problem. My friend was the same as he rang me so I had to look it up and thats how I found out for him. Yeah he's thinking off sending his back too and going air 2

Sorry you had trouble with your MIni 2. Maybe consider the Mavic Air 2 instead, that one is a cut above most others.

Hi buddy I have to do a compass calibration and imu every time. Not happy I'm going to return it. I don't want another crapy dji drone. Maybe in a few years I look again.

Firmware will not fix this as it's a hardware issue. The accelerometer (s) get stuck within the imu and need to be dislodged/released Just turn it off, give it a couple of firm whacks on its top. Power it up and re-run the calibration procedure. You're welcome

You're doing it wrong. You have the end of the drone facing you, you need to set it exactly as you see it on the phone, FACING LEFT. You're standing in the wrong place in relation to the drone.
