In this video I try out the Waypoint function on the DJI Mini 4 Pro. I was impressed at the cinematic path that the drone took on the flight. The interface is very intuitive, and easy to set up. This little Mini 4 is a keeper!

Good tutorial on how set waypoints on the Mini 4 Pro. They work very well on this Mini drone. DJI listened to its users and brought this feature to the Air and Mini series for the first time. Great video, and thanks for sharing Marcus.

Marcus, thanks for another demo of waypoints with the mini 4 pro. I believe the “paper icon” on the left top of the waypoint menu will allow you to save and “Name” the mission.

This has been one of my most difficult setups to understand…perhaps my own perception, but manually flying to each spot, then having it fly automated to the same seemed off for me to do. Thanks for clarifying these tips and pointers for me so I can go out and try it soon. Thank you!

You can do setup on the map, but flying to each point allows you know exactly what the camera will see. Thank you!

The colors at Kleiner were beautiful on the day of this flight. I like the current height of the trees, but since they cannot be frozen in time, I look forward to seeing them in your videos as time goes by. I do a waypoint flight once or twice a week. I enjoy watching the drone fly the route that I set. Waypoints is one of the main reasons I popped for the Air 3. Cheers, buddy.

I do love the automatic features of the latest batch of DJI products. They have tons more computing power! Your Air 2S couldn't do bypass in 5.4K resolution, because the processor was busy handling data. You flew at 4K, 60FPS with that little fellow and it wasn't even breathing hard! I believe you could have touched the page icon in the global setting and from there you could have named that waypoint. An OA test I would like to see is on one of your 360 OA machines, try flying it sideways into a tree. Will it climb up over the tree, or go forward or back around it? Thanks for another fun video!

Brilliant, I've not seen a weypoints video when someone has done an orbit. lol, i wonder if you saved it but changed the speed to 15 mps. How would that orbit look, lol. Video quality looked great also. As usual Marcus great video 😁👍👌🇬🇧

Adding Waypoints (and the required omnidirectional OA that allows them to work safely) are the 2 big upgrades on M4P. Well, the landing light is MAJOR upgrade, lol! 😂 - on Air 3, you can select the 3x-9x csmera in Global Settings, but no way to automate switching cameras during the mission. I have requested that, through a few different DJI contacts and DJI Forum moderators.

@@IdahoQuadcopter Absolutely! Not only are the drones movements super smooth from point to point, but it can dial in zoom more slowly and precisely than the jog dial (right wheel) is capable of! 😉 Even better is "Auto" setting for zoom. To use it, setup 3 Waypoints. WP1 = no zoom (1x) WP3 = max zoom (depending on Drone) WP2 = Auto - according to the manual (yes! I read them!) "AUTO" uses previous and next WP's. Here, it will split the difference so 1x all the way to max zoom, over THREE waypoints, with WP2 being precisely in the middle. I have written a book here, perhaps I'll make a video so I can demo all this!

Great job. I started at $339 for the 2se then I was interested in the mini3 but wanted the 3 pro. Now I'm looking at the 4 pro with the rc .....$1100 will this ever end. 😂
