The easy part is the unboxing - there the narrative is nice and slow. The difficult part is being a first time user - there the narrative is fast andnot easy to follow. Would be good with diagrams showing wich button does what and how to swipe the screen to get to menu items. Maybe I will make such a video.

No mention before purchasing that it does not work with all phones. You need a phone to activate it, so if your phone is not on their compatibility list, buying it is a big gamble.

I don't see enough significant changes to warrant selling my current pocket and pick this one up. Some of the accessories look cool however who would use that clip on mic? It looks like a mouse is attacking your neck!

@@Luke-vg7ut gimbal joystick? Was never a need for me when you can easily swivel in your hand. 3.5" Jack? I use an external lav mic with a receiver that has this built in already. WiFi? Naaaa. I use it for semi-pro shooting and have no problem doing post editing. Zoom? The pixelation doesn't look good in post editing even when zooming in slightly.

Does DJI Pocket 2 wide angle lens has a clip in mount or just the magnetic? And also can you keep the lens on when turning the camera off (in other words does the camera know if the lens is on) ?

Hi Adam, the wide angle lens is magnetic, please make sure that the lens is being attached in the correct position, you can keep the lens on the camera without removing it, thank you.

@@DJITutorials Thanks for your answer! Ok, but when I keep the lens on and turn the camera off, the camera is trying to hide the lens inwards the "head". And I cannot put it back in the case like that. Maybe it's the software thing if my camera doesn't feel that the lens is on, and is behaving as it's without the lens while turning off and on...

I've just got mine delivered and unfortunately I am waiting for customer service as my accessories are actually stuck on the DJI pocket 2. I tried putting on the Do-It-All Handle and it was extremely difficult to remove, and then after putting on the tripod mount accessory it's now completely stuck on it and will not come off. I can't remove it at all. I've connected it the right way, but it's just not coming off. Luckily I can still charge it, but now I am unable to use the separate microphone and do-it-all handle... hopefully DJI can resolve this quickly for me...

The newly added internal "T-shaped" passive heat dissipation will efficiently transfer heat to the metal heat dissipation area of the gimbal's pan axis base to ensure the normal operation of the product. After repeated tests, DJI has determined that the temperature of the handle area will stay within a reasonable range when recording, even if recording for a long time. hi received my pocket 2 today and cant use the wide angle lens that included on the combo when attaching the wide angle it keeps on vibrating then after few secs the pocket 2 will turn to protective mode. any fix on these?

I haven't bought one yet, but maybe there is a setting that you need to set to tell the camera it has a wide angle lens attached. The gopro hero 9 has a setting.

@BJ SM LOL. You are right. That wheel also getting hot when I use it. So sometimes it does not work. But I also wish, They also upgrade my Osmo pocket firmware too. Either that new joystick will not work.

You can easily switch the joystick to either move the camera around or to zoom. So you can make the joystick zoom instead of using the screen if you’d like.

have a DJI Pocket 2 camera which is not able to connect to my Huawei Mate 40 Pro . Tried to connect and activate thru DJI Mimo app on the phone several times ,but not successful. Does any one know who to activate . With Samsung mobile phone it is possible . While trying to activate with Huawei phone, thru the DJI Mimo app, after searching for some time , it says not found. I tried to connect thru the phone adapter not thru blue tooth or by wifi ( wireless ).
