You dont need cables/adapters for rode wireless go. Use a usb c cable plugged into wireless go usb c port and other end into usb c port on OP 3

@HikeCamp no i can't remember exactly, but i don't think you need the app or have to connect to get it working.. its only for firmware.. don't quote me on that

I got the answer for this from the DJI Forum... You do need the Mimo app to activate on first use and for updates. So I am screwed again.

I think you can't hear the audio output because you have connected a USB-C TRRS adapter so it also has headphone output. When you play the video the audio output is routed to the cable and not to the internal speaker. However as someone else wrote you can output directly to USB c

Excellent information...¡...Am waiting for my store to get the combo...what a good idea your have about channel with osmo pocket 3 tips...excellent...Soon DJI is going to offer you a whole load of dosh... you'll see...just dont do anymore videos 🆗?😅 Question for you.....is there a way to make move the gimbal really slow similar to waypoints but shooting normal 4K video...like timelapse but normal 30fps video? keep it up...👍

I hope a make some sense here ...??? . I know it can do way points ...IN PHOTO MODE ....but does it do waypoints filming normal 30 fps 4K video from waypoint to waypoint ...moving the cam head slowly ???...otherwise known as panning in video ??? WIll be awesome if it did ...!!! And replying to your question of overheating ...I only have the ACTION 4 ...and it does get hot ....but doesnt hang . Cheeeerrrssss...!!!!!!

6:55 that could mean the type c port can be use with dual type c socket, a mic and a headset. maybe not, maybe yes.

6:55 that's not actually weird, because the USB-C port is bi-directional. When you have the 3.5 mm plug in, it expects that you're playing back on earbuds. Try plugging a set of earbuds with a microphone in and you'll find that you can record and monitor.

Hey Nick... i would suggest you downlpad the free version of Davinci resolve...its better for you long term..its the one they use for color grading in hollywood... if you pay $350 you get it forever and get all the tools

How to Guy: A question for you. I never vlogg but just use my P2 for family, holiday and dog walks. Is it a waste of money to splash out on the creator combo? Never used the damn clip on mic I got with P2 creator combo!

I am with you, need more content for the majority of the world that has no interest in vlogging. Think DJI have shot themselves in the foot by marketing it as a vlogging camera. I assume the only real use for the mic in the creator combo is for vlogging, if it is I may as well sell it. No idea how much it might be worth though.

BabyCharlie.. nothing wrong with the Standard one, its really just if you are Vlogging.. as Stephen said.. not really good for everyone.. you will still get the benefit of the camera on the standard one

Audio level of the wireless mic... well, not having one, I can't comment with authority. But in principle, you could try working out the best level for your own voice and normally set it accordingly (so it's louder but not clipping). With someone else who might talk louder, use a more conservative level and boost when editing if necessary - so long as that doesn't amplify unwanted system hiss. Or use 32 bit float backup, live dangerously with the on-camera feed from the wireless mic at higher levels, and if that did result in clipping, well, the 32 bit float version would save you ash.

All very useful, you have clearly been giving the P3 a workout😀. I gave mine a major test on Tuesday at two museums (low light) , very impressed and at our Wintergarden (Victorian glasshouses with very colourful flowers) again very impressed especially, and I wasn’t expecting this, for stills when up close where the out of focus back ground is very noticeable. Keep up not making videos😀

You can skip the usb-c to 3.5 adapter with Robe mics. Usb-c to usb-c from mic to OP3 works great.

When something is plugged into the usb c port the camera may interpret it as a headphone, thus muting the speaker.

Hey Daniel i could be wrong.. there is a gimbal speed setting.. that could just be the speed that the gimbal head moves when in your hand around and the gimbal moves in response, and it could also be the reaction speed in active track.. not sure sure about the latter.. there might only be one speed on active track

I wondered the same thing and quickly checked the manual. If it IS adjustable it's probably just based on the overall gimbal speed setting. Have to test.

Thank you for this helpful info ... also ... Still waiting for someone reliable to show info about Pocket 3 details regarding "Pro" settings (i.e. manual: shutter speed/range, ISO [fixed and ranges], EV, WB). Can the ISO be set manually? If so, what are the fixed settings. Are there ISO ranges that can be set (ala Insta360's ISO 0-400, 0-800 & 0-1600)? [those 0's may be 100's, don't recall now] Is there a "Shutter Priority" option? Does the screen do a GOOD job of 'reflecting' the reality of the lighting conditions in the resulting video [i.e. When changing EV, is what you see on the screen the same as what you see on the resulting video? I have had cameras that have big differences.) Thanks again.

I love how you can pin your subject using the rule of thirds now. If you remember I used up hate the tracking on the Pocket 1 and Fimi Palm because it kept you dead center all the time. The tracking didn't even work on the Pocket 2 so I it didn't bother me too much. Lol. Thanks for the tips and info.

Strill its a great camera.. I like that feature also, We found out via some comments in here and some testing I did.. the Normal Color Profile is actually 10 bit also.. but I dont like the coloring they use.. I prefer the Dlog

Mine doesn't seem to have had any issues at 4K 30, my longest was 12 min but my dad used it to record an entire presents unwrapping session at a kid birthday party and it was fine there too, at least 30 min

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve (not the Studio version). My understanding is that the free version does not support 10-bit DLog files. Are you using the free or Studio version of Davinci?

Apeel... Interesting is that the Normal Color Profile appears to be 10bit according to some Tool that I used to show file information of the recorded on the Pocket 3.. Im not sure if it will work on Davinci Free.. but it should work..

UPDATE Regarding 10-bit Support in Free Davinci Resolve: I may have misunderstood what I read online. I am now learning that you can (I think) import 10-bit video into Davinci Resolve (Free), edit it as needed, and then render it out in 8-bit video. You just cannot render it out as 10-bit video. Can anybody with a Pocket 3 using Davinci Resolve (Free) confirm that you can edit 10-bit, then render it out as 8-bit?

Thank you for the video. Just a note: the audio from the DJI mic, used mainly for dialogue, should ideally be in mono. This is the traditional approach for dialogue recording, as it offers a more natural sound. Lapel mics are specifically designed for capturing dialogue. Background or ambient sounds are then added by editors in stereo or multichannel audio to enrich the overall audio experience.

Someone else said the normal video mode actually is 10 bit. Some clever person can probably double check that. Not me. I'm clever but I don't have the camera...

Its not 10 bit according to what i saw on Davinci.. there was no 10 after the file on the properties.. but hey, maybe they know something better about why it is.. thanks ill have a look

@easyperl and @OzPeter .. this is indeed correct, after doing some research it appears the Normal is indeed 10 bit, according to the Meta Data.. It does show that in Davinci but in another plugin, although the bit rate being recorded is less 55.1 on Normal and 87Mbps on DLog.. probably the flat color profile requires more data

4k 120 will overheat the camera after about 17 mins. Who said so? DJI. So only use that when essential, or when the room is getting a bit chilly and you need a very expensive hand warmer. . I have suggested to DJI that they should publish full overheat data table like they did for the Action 2. Come clean, guys!. Confess!

Today I returned my pocket 3 back ! Overheating problems. I tried to do a 4K 60fps HDR video and my camera stopped working around 15min.later ! UNEXEPTABLE Dji ! Totally UNEXEPTABLE 👎👎👎
