DJI has jumped into the portable power station arena by offering the DJI Power 1000 and 500 power stations. I've been testing the DJI power 1000 out for the last few weeks and it has been amazing. they feature ultra quiet operation, super fast recharging, and they charge DJI products like drone batteries incredibly fast. There are a few things that I wish DJI had added to these amazing power stations but overall these are incredible pieces for anyone who is camping, on the go or working away from power where you need to recharge or run anything electronic.

If there was a DJI product meant for Jake it is this…. Love ya man! Keep up the great work… Hope you make it down to Northeast Tennessee sometime.. that thing would live in the back floor of my MDX and plugged into rear power port to supply everything every day…

Watch David McLucky teardown video of the DJI Power 1000. Full of varnish and other waterproof coatings making this unit top notch in terms of design and protection. Good to see you also find this unit to be one of the best you've used so far!

That looks like a nice one. If I didn't already have a Jackery 500 & EcoFlow Delta 2, i would seriously consider this one. Recharge time is great. Have fun!

Hey Jake, I appreciate your review. As always grade A on details and features. I also really liked how you said "it comes in two different flavors" meaning models between the 500w and 1000w.DJI makes some amazing technology. yeah actually that would be a good use case. This thing is the best built battery station I've ever seen. I watched a teardown and the way DJI put it together is about as bullet proof as it can be, conformal coating on everything huge cells and robust electronics everywhere.

Do you have to charge it before use or it uses a solar system?

it needs to be charged before use and can also be charged during use with a solar system of a mains system

Does Best Buy in Anchorage sell this unit yet? I have some family there for a couple days, I never bought the cover bag for it, I was going to see if they could get one there for me. Love your content, we live in Fairbanks and it's nice to watch a channel where somebody lives close to me.

I don't believe so, but DJI does ship this unit to Alaska. I ordered the 500 and it came and a friend got one delivered to Kodiak
