Because of the length of the arm they allow it to stop that way… so if you have a large camera with the arm extended it will still lock without hitting against the other arm

They should give us the option in the settings as the majority of people don't have that huge setup

I can't believe nobody else is talking about how pointless the Bluetooth is

Interesting comments , I have the RS3, my first camera gimbal. I’m sure I saw somewhere that the way the pro folds is to protect larger setup from hitting the gimbal in its folded configuration. The RS3 folds flat but I can see a menu option being a plus. I agree the implementation of Bluetooth is disappointing and I have decided just to use the cable - an annoying quirk on Canon, well R series is the need to constantly “enable” the “remote” option which on the R5 anyway reverts back to “disabled” when you switch to photo mode and it took quite a search to uncover the solution to why nothing worked initially. I don’t use LiDAR or RavenEye so as a first gimbal I’m pretty impressed compared to my crap hand held footage and it certainly well outperforms the OM4 Gimbal I use on my phone although the Bluetooth implementation on that is really good. Thanks for the content 😀

Thanks, straight up, i thought this lock function is over rated. Like to use a monopod or extend the gimbal for creative work so want it as light as possible. Just need to put the gimbal in sleep and you can lie it down. Easy.
@navpreetsingh81562 жыл бұрын
When you put the gimbal to sleep I think it's good on startup it's not very good however as you are going to balance if every time you pack it and unpack it so overall its just abit meh
@abenezerayalew59912 ай бұрын
It doesn't fold all the way far a reason if you add heavy camera you would have to extend the gimbal jaw or arm all the way if it's extended all the way it wouldn't close all the way
@navpreetsingh81562 ай бұрын
That is a rare scenario and I should have the option of that closing or not closing all the way as I don't use big cameras like the vast majority of users

@@navpreetsingh8156 It is perfect because thats how it is supposed to work, i don't see the big deal with the lock thing. The Reven eye does not play in mine. My only problem is connected to the bluetooth issue, i wouldn't trust bluetooth even if it worked, but my problem is that even the cable ucb-c to ucb-c or ucb-c to multi both don't work with my sony 7iii

Isn't raven eye on rs2 combo? I'm debating between rs2 & rs3. I do have a bigger setup, blackmagic 6k pro
@navpreetsingh8156 Жыл бұрын
Rs2 has nato ports for accessories such as wireless remotes, also gives you the option of external power options, the RS3 doesn't have these but the RS3 pro does, personally I'd go RS2 or RS3 pro, for me the RS3 is just a simple gimbal and I need it to do more
@navpreetsingh8156 Жыл бұрын
Also the RS2 can be had for a good 300 dollars/pounds cheaper 2nd hand the a RS3 pro and they are literally the same
