Which would you choose??

After the Weebill 2, I don't wanna look at anything made by Zhiyun again. DJI is night and day compared to anything else in terms of the practicality and design, plus that autolock feature is the absolute b*mb!

I prefer the Weebill 3, simply because of its portability and comfort to use. DJI always focuses on those technological breakthroughs that sometimes our users don't always need, while Zhiyun always hit some strange yet sweet points we actually need

RS3 kicks Weebill 3's butt, what more the RS3 Pro?

Weebill S came out a while back and hits most of these marks easily. Still does the job quite well! 👍

I’m definitely considering picking up the RS3, but I enjoy using Zhiyun products more. I gotta say, for event work the light on the Zhiyun M3 comes in super clutch. If the venue is too dark, and we can’t turn on our Godox VL150s then the small light on the gimbal just works. Especially when shooting at ISO 3,200/4,000.

Literally bro You did not give any consideration to the weebill3 360 automatic rotation feature Which gives me a option of shooting 360shots with a single hand And the speed is adjustable Please learn how to use these gimbals completely first and then make a fresh video

I know the DJI have more quality is more well built but the thing I'm looking for is something easy to use and comfortable and I don't think the DJI is sometimes convenience is King

Safety lock on the camera mount is on the weebill 3 also, also the payload capacity is pretty much the same on both

Think you used the Weebill 3 grip in the wrong way... I used it pretty handy with one hand and felt comfortable with the dial&button, so that's where I frowned when seeing the video, and please stop saying things like "that's sth I'd love to see in the next dji", a company shall try hard to keep innovative to solve users' sore point by its own not by imitating/transplanting from others😂Actually as i know the sling structure and quick release plate are also introduced by zhiyun

I'd buy the DJI based on the quality alone. That being said, they are still too big to cart around - if only they could make gimbals that could be folderd up create an inflatable gimbal that fitted in your pocket. Have you tried your S5 with a cage on the RS3? I thnk cage, lense and S5 and mic is under 2.5 kilos?

After watching this excellent comparison video, it's easy to see the Weebill was not thought through at all. Almost like they just tried to copy someone else's design. Amazing how they messed up such basic features as balance and hand/thumb position.

Lovely produced video, so well paced and really kept things moving. It should be noted, there is $190 difference in price in the two gimbals as shown in the video, that is reasonably significant.

Great review Sam! In the past, I’ve always preferred ZHIYUN’s gimbals to DJI’s simply because of DJI’s glitchingness bulkiness, and just overall annoying service. But I got to say, the RS3 is starting to look pretty tempting.

Having tested and reviewed the Weebill 3 too like you I now prefer my DJI RS2 (have not got the RS3 yet) - That's a whole Dominos Pizza to DJI - however I have to say I love the wrist support on the Weebill and the light is a good idea !

Excellent video and comparison! I would give the Weebill a pizza slice for only being $350 when compared to the Ronin's $750 price tag (as shown). Yeah it's a lead pipe cinch for me to get the Ronin.

New to this game, sorry! So the weebill locks in backwards, but can just slide out forward even though it is locked in place?? Or does it slide out easily forward when you unlock the base plate?

I would buy dji but the software does not work with my Canon camera. Read the canon posts on the forums. R5C locked up on my DJI R gimbal and the the new one does the same as posted on the forums. Over a year or two and DJI still won't fix the locking up the camera issue.

Those who say that Zhiyun is better have clearly not used the DJI RS3.

Great review my brother, I have DJI RSC 2 and I recently got the RS3 and really this gimbal is the best at the moment, quality and stabilization, many are forgetting that gimbals were created to stabilize, and in this matter DJI dominates, many complain about the size , I recently bought a Scorp C and it was a disappointment , small and cheap gimbal but with bad quality and bad stabilization , after three weeks if I use it the screw broke when I tried to balance my Sony a7iv so I returned it to Amazon . anyway DJI RS3 is a whole pizza lol God bless.

Cases: they both suck. But RS3 is slightly better. The landing gear is also more robust on the RS3. In the next comparison, maybe go over the features, accessories, and more of the connectivity/camera control.

Hey, Sam! I really like your videos, thanks for your content! Do you know if the Raven Eye Transmission system works in portrait mode on DJI RS3? I can't find information about this anywhere. I would also like to know if you has tested the DJR vertical mount with the Lumix S5IIX + Sigma 24-70. I saw another KZfaq saying that the gimbal (RS3) doesn't support this setup vertically and I was surprised. Basically I'm looking for a gimbal that does a good job with active tracking mode but vertically and that can handle the weight of the 24-70 but this is proving to be a difficult task. Any suggestion?

Thank you for this man I just baught the dji rs 3, is it normal when I select the fpv mode after any movement, the gimbal needs to be recentered every time. I have to double click the trigger to recenter it again

hey, have you ever tried to change the speed of the roll axis in follow mode in the weebill 3? it's way to slow for me, I wanted to make it faster for more dynamic dancefloor footage on wedding days, but no matter what parameter i set it on, the speed doesen't change what so ever.

3:25 that invention sucks. thats the reason i dont by the dji shi**. i cant work with a normal manfrotto plate that I transfer to a monopod and tripod.

The mic and light on zhiyun’s gimbals are so completely useless and just add unnecessary weight. I want a solid gimbal that does what a gimbal does. I have lights, I have mics, I have gear. I’d say that most people using a gimbal are not casual users. Maybe in the phone space but not gimbals like these.

Actually if you are an run n gunner I don't think you will mind having so much extras on rs3 compared to weebill 3. As a ground shooter I mainly need gimbal for it's 3-4 basic functions which both gimbals have but weebill 3 is lighter and if its motors are working well you can't just make a 10:1 ratio by pros for the rs3. This was not a realistic comparison but more like you are a dji fanboy.. Sorry dislike!
