www.RCSparks.com - This video is really just me wanting to spend some time with you guys! I had some time to go over my 2 Toyota Hilux, and figured I would just be speaking about the Character and Patina of a well used trail truck. These two trucks are Electric, and have a 2 Stage Transmission. Low Gear and High Gear. This truck can come RTR or as a Kit. These two in particular were kits. I run a 35t / FXR ESC (Tekin combo) in these two rigs. I power the trucks with Gens Ace Lipo Batteries. The one shown in the video here is a 4200 2s Lipo Short pack. I LOVE THEM! they last for at least an hour worth of run time in this setup.

Toyota pickups will always have a special place in my heart. I used to have a 1982 2WD Toyota pickup with no power steering or power brakes. That truck was a blast! I still miss her...

Thanks medic for the videos, and the forums. It had rekindled the love I had for RC's when I was in high school. Getting back in the hobby thanks to your videos. Bought a crawler and I love it and my wife loves it. I'm now saving up to buy her a little basher to drive around. She likes to go fast and jump things. Thanks again

***** Hey you dont have to be sorry. I felt sorry to all my subscribers cause I got way sick recently and I wasnt able to continue my Axial SCX10 G6 build for over a week and half cause of it. I'm still coughing but I'm slowly trying to get back to doing it again. My wife and I was talking about how grateful we were for you doing all that for us and helping our channel grow. It has meant a ton to us as a family. Thanks again Aaron. ;-)

Thanks Medic for talking about scale setups, and personal prefrence on builds. I have an old 72 farm truck I built, and when I post up vids everyone has somthing for me to improve. My trucks not perfect, and does'nt wheel the best, but its just how I like it. I actually detuned it to make wheeling a little more chalenging. Anyway, thanks man, you rock!

Totally Time for more Wrench along with Medic Vids. I wrench on my junk in the evenings and it's nice to listen to RC content. With very few (1 good one) podcasts and the off Video it's nice to have stuff playing to wrench to. Cheers Buddy

Nice trucks Medic. I love the aging process you've done to them. I really enjoy your studio tutorial videos more than running videos. I actually rather work on Rc more than driving them. The mechanics and function of all the small parts working together fascinates me. Thanks Medic for all you do.

You know, isn't that the truth.. and something that not many people consider. YES.. we spend more time fixing our trucks then driving them.. but isnt it like that in full scale as well?! Some people are not prepared for the maintenance they have to do!

I was thinking of building a custom RC truck from an old Tonka Chevrolet monster truck. It is very very beaten and battered, but I think that it would look brilliant as an RC, and that it would really give one of my favorite childhood toys a great new lease on life.

AWESOME!!!! :D I really wish I had some more crawling tires to mess with on my SCX10...Sigh,I need a job...Badly! I'm sure if I want more RC's, or, or more crawling tires...LOL! I watched this, it's a great video, as relevant now as it was 3-..4yrs ago.... Thank's.... However, I'm still confused as ever, lol.... Too much to pick from..... I certainly wish that all perks were gone..... none.... notta,,,, fineto,,,,, so that there was no tendency to fudge a little toward you benefactor...... Bro you nailed it right on the head, Just moved back to the city where i have a HUGE!!! freshly redone church parking lot so i decided to take my old mini-t out just for the hell of it (needs a total rebuild just can't afford it) with the little bit of snow we got the cocky kid up the street with his traxxas x whatever number it is tried to race me while he blew his servo out and roasted the non waterproof electronics i went flying around him felt good hopefully if i can rebuild this i'll be able to make a vid i plan on putting two smaller motors in rear mount brushed of course for a little buggie the thing has balls so i want to see what i can get out my first real r/c wish me luck.

I've seen servos move on their own like that in my experience it just needs a type of glitch buster or capacitor to help the servo voltage. Dont know if thats your case...

Hey medic I have a major question on scaler motors what does like 45 turns or 35 turn mean and which one would be the best

the "t" or "Turn" of a Motor - refers to the amount of Turns a wire is wrapped around the.. well - lets keep it simple. Get the 35t. The Higher the # of Turn - the More torque (pull) - but slower wheel speed. So Higher the number, MORE PULL POWER. The LOWER the Number of "t" the FASTER the Motor. BUT - the difference between a 35 and a 45 is small. Get the 35t - its what I use ;)

Medic! Thanks for showin off some more toys:) This video poses a question though, us new guys are under the assumption that brushless + mud = big nono. How are you able to take your rigs out bashing with such an expensive motor setup and still make it home in relatively few pieces? Thanks

I waterproof my Brushless setups.. :) I mentioned in the video though, that I do not show how to waterproof Sensored Brushless motors, because Mine only works 85% of the time when I do it.. Lol I have ad people try to come back on me when they do something that breaks their machine cause they watch a video of mine. Hence the disclaimer in the bottom of every video!

hey brother, in ur opinion what do u think is a better truck for trail riding? the RC4WD trail stomper rtr or the scx honcho rtr? these r 2 of the trucks I've been lookin at, bc im new to these Rc's. I kno u said all people r different, where I live no one knows nothing about either truck. all the people I ask there use gas power. please give me ur opinion.
